Then go to this site http://salafipublications.com/sps/ then go to i'm a non-muslim or i'm a christian or you can check out the other stuff, misconceptions section is short and sweet, you can email me at fdr23rapper@yahoo.com, hate mail is unavoided and accepted as well as people that just want to seriouly talk religion and are serious. I've studied religion for 14 years, was a christian, now i'm a muslim. NOT one of those strapped with a bomb ignorant types. I'm from America, I don't hate it I just don't like its condition of ignorence, as you'll see by some the "answers". pretty much don't like the war, the native violence, drugs, alcohol, rape, murder, and filth that goes on. I reflect on just how short life is and if there is a ONE true GOD, which there is I want to see him being on the right path, not a path with hypocracy, loop hole, and the wrong map. If was you I'd check the site out. AND I wouldn't prejudge a whole way of life (religion) intil I got the facts straight.

I am an Episcopalian and I have been considering converting to Islam for a few weeks now, but I'm not ready to make any kind of decision yet. I've decided that I will study both religions intently, and then make my decisions.

The reason I even began to think about converting is because one of my best friends is Muslim and he and I decided to talk about religion one day. I very much enjoyed listening to what he had to say and in fact, before I spoke to him I was doubting whether or not I even believed in a God. Now I believe whole heartedly.

Even as an Episcopalian I do not believe Jesus was anything other than a mere mortal. I think that Christians needed to believe that God was real and therefore decided to potray Jesus as more of a God on Earth, than what he really was.... a prophet who they should have believed with blind faith.

As for someone's quote above from the Bible saying Jesus says, "I cam from God". This is a metaphor, and while you may believe that this means he actually came from a part of God, I believe he is merely saying, "God sent me here to spread the His word". God sent me here as well, but I am not an actual part of God.

God is perfect. Go cannot be a man, because He is absolute perfection.

The only thing I HATE about Islam is that they teach that Jesus was only a prophet.

I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. -John 5:24

Oh you dont believe the Bible because its been "corrupted by man"?!?!?! Wow I didnt realize that God is so weak and pushed around by men that he cant even preserve life-changing truth-telling Scripture! The Bible that Muhammad had in his day is the same one we have today! Reasearch that on any historical website that isnt run by history-denying dishonest Muslims and you would know the truth.

Islam is best refuted by these two verses given their rejection of the Gospel and their inherrant inability to tell the truth or examine their own faith......

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. -John 8:42-44

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! -Galatians 1:8

Muhammad's life has four sections. He started peacefully, but could not convert the Jews and Christians. Finally, around Mecca he wrote his last part - the final answer. It includes over 100 calls for Jihad (war).

Allah hates the Jew and Christian.

God loves the Jew and Christian.

Muhammad taught war, attacks and dealing harshly with enemies.

Jesus taught love, obedience and peace on earth.

Jesus' dying words were "tetelestia" - it is finished - I have defeated sin for my faithful.

Muhammad's dying words were, "May Allah curse the Jew and Christian" - trust me, you don't want to be cursed by god.

These "religions" have nothing in common. One wishes to destroy Israel, while the other supports and loves Israel.

THIS IS TRUTH.

And this IS the real Islam:

Self-righteousness and hypocrisy is not a trait that belongs to any particular religion, country, or race. And you all are missing the point. That no matter who you are, you have a spirit within, and we are all Gods/Allahs children.
