I personally think it's wrong. It's worshiping God's creation, not God. God was the one who created the angels, why not worship the creator instead of his creation?

In agreement with the answer... let them pray whichever way they wish. It's folly for anyone to tell another how they ought to pray (see 'freewill'). If GOD IS (meaning not just the act of creation... but that everything seen and unseen IS GOD) then the act of praying itself is honoring the devine creator/creation and that there is no right or wrong way but merely variations... which again is GOD expressing itself through humanity. The idea of thinking humans are seperate from GOD is humorous... humans have a wonderful sense of humor which we inherited from GOD. Many believe angels to be a higher form of being than human... perhaps they are merely different and in many ways perhaps they admire humanity (perhaps the admiration is mutual). Regardless of how one prays it is almost certain that GOD gets the message. Nice question... allows one to think in many directions about our relationship with GOD and our position in Creation.

It sucks.
So does Praying to the Virgin Mary, just because she is Jesus's Mother.
Jesus is the CREATOR.
You only Worship GOD, and in fact you can only Worship GOD in Spirit and TRUTH (you have to be Born-Again, Spirit Recreated).
Praying to Mary, St. Christopher etc. is a waste of Time and has Probably Destroyed many People, cause they Believed in them Instead of JESUS, Come in the Flesh, Died on the Cross, Risen from the Dead by the Father Above.
Ditto.............

I think that you should pray to the god of your religion to show loyalty and faith, but I think people pray to angels as they probably see angels as being closer to them.
A lot of people think they have a 'guardian angel', so they'd feel freer and at more hope of having their prayers answered if they prayed to them... I personally would choose to pray to either God or Jesus, but I don't entirely understand the concept of angels anyway.

I pray to God, but ask my angels and spirit guides, as my gifts from God, for guidance and intercession on my behalf. It works. I believe in them "through" God, not instead of God. God is an energy source, not a being. Our angels and spirit guides are actual beings, created by God for the express purpose of guiding us throughout our physical lifetimes. I thank God that they are there for me. They assist me every single day!

It is polytheism, not monotheism, to pray anyone except God the Father(in Christianity), because, mylord Jesus also prayed Him. In Arabic Bible, there is no word:G O D ! The word 'ALLAH' is used athousands of time. So, pray Allah and save yourself from any semblance of polytheism; Arabic being the language closest to the vernacular spoken by mylord Jesus. Only English-knowing persons know the translated word:God. Perhaps, the nonEnglish Christians are greater in number...

Angels are God's messengers. He uses them to relay his intentions to people and vice versa. An Israeli colonel had a white dove land on his shoulder while in a loosing battle. No matter how hard he tried to shoo the dove away, he wouldn't leave.
The battle turned tide and not a single Israeli soldier lost his life after that, during this battle.

Many Roman Catholics pray to Jesus , the Virgin Mary, the ArchAngels and the Saints, whatever works , it's all God's works anyway.

Who does that?
Everything through the Son to the father via the spirit.
The angels are there, but they do as they are commanded concerning us humans. You can ask for their assistance but it should always be in the name of the trinity. They are subject unto God, through Him to us. There is a hierarchy in the heavenly realms and just like a military regimen, one voice trumps another.
