Muslims regularly say that the Bible is full of contradictions. As a Christian I find these verses from the Qur'an and Sunnah contradicting each other. It's as if the Sunnah was written as an after thought.

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

Then we have: [3:85] And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.

A long comes the Sunnah that says: [Sunnah] The Messenger of Allah (saas) said, "One who kills a non-Muslim person under protection (Arabic: dhimmi) will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise."

If the Qur'an is perfect what was the need for Muhammad to write the Sunnah and contradict some of the verses?
Isn't it understandable why many Muslims are not being disobedient but are just confused?

I am a Christian, and if I knew a member of my church was committing hate crimes, I would turn them in to authorities IN A HEARTBEAT—even if it were my own family member. If I knew someone who was training innocent children to be HATEMONGERS, I would turn them in. If I suspected someone of planning a horrible attack, I would turn them in. I would not stand by and look the other way while people I know and even care about, are causing death and destruction. I find it hard to believe there are two separate groups of Islam—one “good” and one “bad” and none of them are related or know each other or communicate with each other?

I am so tired of hearing about “racial profiling” and how unfairly Muslims are being treated. It is not enough to say, “Not all Muslims are terrorists!”

In the book of James, it talks about the only acceptable form of religion being taking care of widows and children, and giving to the poor. The Bible agrees with you...why are you antagonistic toward those who talk about their faith, not their organized religion?

It drives you crazy to think this big universe just evolved on its own.

but when it comes to how God came about, you dont even care.

Why violate your own argument by saying something has to come from something?

Am I the only person who can see how the Big Bang could have occurred when God spoke. I know we can observe differentiation within genetic boundaries. I just have issues with biological macroevolution. I don't embrace the Gap Theory. My finite brain can only embrace so much on faith. I mean, a theory is a hypothesis that has been tested over and over again with positive results. Micro has been adequately tested and observed. Truly, macro hasn't been tested and observed over and over again with positive results. I dunno. Maybe I just don't have enough faith. I also differentiate evidence and proof. In terms of the Big Bang, there would have to be an outside cause for the origin. I would hazard to say that He who exists beyond time and space... Well. You know what I mean. Just want to see if I am alone out there on this. I realize that only 40% of scientists believe in a God who answers prayers.

Why someone answers questions in Religion & Spirituality by saying that people shove religion down their throats? I have had that more than once, so you would think that if they did not want it shoved down their throats, they would stay away from this section, correct? I mean this with every religion..

and you wonder how you going to cope living your like that throughout your life. and you worry about things like;will you finally give up God along the way and go to hell when you die? will your family members just give up on you and leave you because you are an embarassment to them ?will you finally lose it from all the hopeless and lonely feeling that keeps building up inside and end up in a mental institution ,uncared and dirty? will you die alone and no loved ones by your death bed? will you be in anyone's prayers? will there be anyone to put flowers on your grave?

And worse, He advocates His followers do the same things. Then it all gets turned around and twisted to where if your not in "my" church you go to hell. Why is it OK to smoke, kill, steal. curse, etc but not OK to NOT go to your church or embrace the beliefs of your religion? If smoking is of the devil why does the bible say God loves to smell (inhale) the incense in the temple. If Thou shalt not kill (because it's of the devil) why does God [and his people in His name]? If theft is of the devil, why did God tell Mosses to clean out the Egyptions when he left.? If cursing is of the devil why did Jesus curse the tree? I don't get it. Does anyone here get it??????

y do athiests and nonbelivers and such, constantly challange believers with bible related questions and such? y do they care? y dont they ask muslims similar questions? if all religions r the same to them how come they dont argue with buddests about the 8 steps to heaven or whatever? y r they so agry that we belive in something? y do they think that just becuase we choose to believe something we have all the answers to life? y do they insult our christianity as if it had anything to do with them? y dont they mind their busines and let us belive what we want, like we let them belive what they want? how come they read the bible so much?
