Do you realize you mixed nationality with religions here?

No one HAS to be right. A foundation of faith is good----no matter what it is. It gives people something to live by.

Praying is a sort of meditation which can calm your nerves and relax you a lot. When you are in Hyper mode doing business like stock trading, etc. people find it very soothing and relaxing to pray or meditate. Also, through prayer, a man who is holding a very high post, can vent out his grievances and get relief as otherwise he will be able to do it with subordinates. Prayer is not necessarily for religion. You can pray for well being of your friend who is going to attend an interview for a big job or a friend who is not well and you want to wish him well through prayer.

Buddhists do not believe in a god but neither do we disbelieve in one. Though some buddhists pray that is more cultural than religious, and praying is not a part of our religion. Meditation is also nowhere near prayer. Buddha is dead, he is not a god, just a man who shared his wisdom with the world.

They are all mankind, or Gods creations. Even the Egyptians did too. The problem is in whom or what they are praying to. Some are praying to false gods or idols. They have to have a god that they can see. Most of us pray to the only living God of all creation. And you are correct. They can't all be right. Only one is right. Personally, I believe in praying to the living God. He is the only one capable of creating human life.

It is not just prayer, it also has a lot to do with the spoken word that mankind also has a lot of faith in. We still don't have a true understand of the power of prayer. And until we do we can not condemn it, or push it aside, or change it to suit our petty whim"s

no they are all manifestations of God, despite having different ' leaders' or 'prophets'. God created Allah, Bhudda, Yaweh etc. just as he created Jesus and of course they all pray, that is the way everyone talks to God.

Who is to say they are wrong? If you get insulted when your belief in your God is questioned, why would it not go both ways?
