When I was young, my friend told me, you have to be good in order for you to go to heaven. If you're bad, you'll go to hell. If you don't have that much sin, you will go to purgatory. Until now, it's still sticking in my mind. All I believe is God and I will go to heaven when it's my time.

The real question is to my fellow agnostics,

what does being an agnostic mean to you. Not looking for a textbook definition or some non-agnostic to tell me what it means, looking for other agnostics to tell me what the word means to them and if they are what they are because of the word or if they are the word because of what they are first.

Isaiah 9vs6 "Unto us a child is born, a SON is given, and he shall be the prince of Peace (sar shalom), God almighty, and the wonderful counselor.

Proverbs 30 vs 4 Who created the heavens and the earth, what is his name and what is his sons name if thou knowest.

sorry to our muslim friends too -someone lied to you-and if you believe the messiah Jesus as a good prophet why not do what he says-love your enemies and feed them if they are hungry-i doesnt say kill them with a bomb so u can go to heaven and have alot of wives like muhmeed with his 8 year old wife-anyone ever hear of child molsestation if he wanted to care for her-it didnt have to be marriage-anyways pray for them and me and my 'Jewish' people who hate Isaiah they says they like him but really?
i prayed as Jesus said "Behold i stand at your heart door and knock, if u ask me in i will deliver you from sin and be your friend." i prayed that as best i could-come in my heart helpme sorry-be my friend, amen" it worked

Are you the perfect Christian?

Do you Love The LORD and follow His word exactly?

Do you try to do all The LORD wants, but know you come up short?

Are you trying, but constintly failing to serve The LORD?

Or are you a Non-Believer, and hence forth, why are you so?

I see people answer all the time that they KNOW God exists. Doesn't knowledge imply having facts that prove he exists? Isn't "thinking he exists" more of a belief based approach?

If a non-beleiver has no faith in the Bible--then quoting from it won't change their mind.

Recently my boyfriend, who I had been living with for 1 year, left me. The condolences I keep getting are "It just wasn't meant to be".

This doesn't make me feel better. Since I don't really believe in "meant to be" or "not meant to be", this only makes me feel worse. I'm so sick of hearing "If it's meant to be it will work out" and all this "meant to be" talk. That's basically (to me) just a way of sugar-coating the situation and it only makes me feel worse.

Does anyone understand where I'm coming from on this subject? Sometimes I feel like no one does.
