You can use science to refute any thing. If you try to use the Bible and study it out, you will be converted. You will find the church uses the Bible as a whole. It comes as close to the primitive church as possible. It is a restoration church in that it believes as Paul taught in Timothy that there would be a great apostasy until before the last days.

You can refute the Book of Mormon, unless you talk to the Hopis. Ask them how they arrived in this continent. Ask them about their white brother.

I'm wondering why you feel the need to refute it? Why not tolerate their beliefs as they tolerate yours...?

My experience with "bible bashing" is that it only causes contention and doesn't change anyone's opinions. As Dale Carnegie said, "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."

It seems to me that if someone offered another Testament of Jesus Christ and claimed that it was additional light and truth from God...I would be inclined to ask God about it rather than search for scientific ways to disprove it. Are you hoping that it's false? Are you hoping that God really stopped speaking to mankind over 2000 years ago?

You have to realize many beliefs of mormans are not in either the Bible or the book of Mormon For example, the belief of Utah mormons that God and Mrs God used to be mormons on another planet who achieved godhood is no where in either.

Archeology has never suported the 'american pre history' of the book of Mormon but I doubt it will help you convince anyone

You might stick with the Bible as far as showing who God is and who Jesus is in particular and how to come to him. The big problem will be... simiar to Islam... Mormanism claims the Bible to be corrupt and superceeded by another book. Many terms will be very similar, Jesus is a son of a god in Mormonism and the brother of lucifer but is he the Son of God as portrayed by the Bible - no?

How can you "refute Mormonism" if you don't even know what they believe?? You should start by learning their beliefs, and then either agreeing or disagreeing with them.

in the last few years they removed it but thier book of mormon said that anyone with colored skin was cursed by god to go to hell. they didnt allow black members until recent years. also they have many racial undertones in thier book if you check it out.

Why is it people want to prove our religion wrong, why can't you just let us believe has we want, we let you worship as you wish. If someone doesn't want to listen to our missionaries, all they have to do is say "No Thank you, I'm not interested."

I believe if someone wants to bash our beliefs they are just trying to cover up their sins by attacking someones elses beliefs.
