Nice question. :)

Qur'an (30:21-22)

Among His proofs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility and contentment with each other, and He placed in your hearts love and care towards your spouses. In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who think.

Among His proofs are the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors. In these, there are signs for the knowledgeable.

Isaiah 11:

1. A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
2.. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD -

3. and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;

4. but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.

5. Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

6. The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling [a] together;
and a little child will lead them.

7. The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

8. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.

9. They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea

I who am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars and the mysteries of the waters,

I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me.

For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe.

From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return.

Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals.

Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.

"Behold, I am Jesus Christ whom the prophets testified shall come into the world. And behold, I am the light of the world; and i have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning." 3 Nephi 11:10-11

no holy book to quote from but i love this

A true master is not the one with the most students , but the one who creates the most masters
A true leader is not the one with the most followers, but the one who creates the most leaders
A true king is not the one with the most subjects , but the one who leads the most to royalty
A true teacher is not the one with the most knowledge, but the one who cause the most others to have knowledge
A true God is not the one with the most servants , but the one who serves the most , thereby making Gods of all others
for this is both the goal and the glory of God, that his subjects shall be no more , and that all shall know god not as the unobtainable but as the unavoidable

".…man should know his own self, and know those things which lead to loftiness or to baseness, to shame or to honor, to affluence or to poverty. After man has realized his own being and become mature, then for him wealth is needed. If this wealth is acquired through a craft and profession, it is approvable and worthy of praise to men of wisdom, especially to those servants who arise to train the world and beautify the souls of nations.

Ephesians 5:22-24:

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

We don't have a holy book, but my favorite phrase is "Pray and pour" This refers to the offertory nature of our religion. We pray and give offerings of food and drink to our deities.

I carry with me a bucket of water and a lamp, the water to quell the fires of hell, the fire to burn the illusion of paradise. As faith comes not from the fear of hell or the desire of paradise but from the love of the Alimighty
