You can't actually prove to a non believer that the Bible is the world of God, it is like trying to prove Evolution to a Creationist. The ideology is incompatible.

There are several historical references in the Bible that can be proven: Chronicles 36:22, Cyrus permitting the people of Judah to return home, documented by Cyrus himself in Persian documents; the Tel Dan inscription (an inscribed stone) is a reference to King David found outside the Bible; there was also a stone that was found listing a "receipt" for donations to Solomon's Temple dating around 800 BC; there were seals found in Israel for kings listed in 1 & 2 Kings of the Bible (the most famous one has an image of a lion and says "belonging to Shema, servant of Jeroboam"); the Mesha Stele (another stone artifact) mentions biblical people; the Siloam Carving verifies the completion of the amazing tunnel mentioned in 2 Kings 20 and 2 Chronicles 32 and there are many, MANY other physical artifacts that can verify certain information contained in the Bible. Now as to proof for the "divinely inspired" books, you're left hanging. You'll need to do a lot of research because it was mere mortal men who decided which books were "divinely inspired" and should be kept and which ones were not and weren't included. One of the criterion for a book to be included in the New Testament was that it had to have "continuous useage and acceptance by the church", another criterion was the conformity to the "rule of faith", meaning the book had to abide by church traditions. So there's no real proof you can give for that aspect. However, the Bible WAS the first book ever printed, and it has remained relatively the same since it was passed down via word-of-mouth. All you can do is research, research, research! Read up on the Code of Hammurabi (sp?) which is very similiar to the laws of Moses, but supposedly written long before and also The Epic of Gilgamesh, which includes an account extremely similiar to Noah and the Ark, again, written long before. You can also read up on how Christian holidays were determined including Halloween, Easter and Christmas... very interesting historical data there as well. All you can do is offer that person what facts you do have... everything else is faith and personal belief.

There is a lot of stuff in the Bible that corresponds geographically to the area.
There is a pillar of stone that they call Lot's wife - it is still there.
There is not any evidence that the Egyptians enslaved the Hebrew nation - none - and the Egyptians kept pretty good records.
There are many contradictions in the Bible. For many "quotes" there are other "quotes" that anyone can use to disprove it.
The New Testament is rife with contradictions. There is an alleged genealogy for both Mary and Joseph back to David, but only Joseph was from Bethlehem, yet Joseph was not the actual father of Jesus. There was no census recorded by the Romans as recounted in the Gospel, plus the method of the census - going to your "home" town to be counted - is the stupidest way of doing things. It is clear that the writer forced the story to make Jesus of Nazareth a descendant of David.

Well this is very true, many times it works just to explain to the person about the love of Jesus, prayerfully.
But some people need evidence, I myself like to use Bible prophecy, I do not quote from the Bible but i tell friends about the dark ages, and how well both the books of Daniel and Revelation predict it, this often still doesn't draw attention.
I love when people ask me questions about evolution, tryin to disprove God, because the evidence actually points to creation and i love those discussions, but i only enter them if people start them, and are openly discussing.
Theres alot of Archeological evidence which supports the Bible, if people really want to rule out the Bible they should do some research, its sad that most people just beleive its a fable, without looking for any evidence.

Do not quote from the Bible to a non-believer. You can offer them one, but it has to be their choice to read it. Answer from the Bible only when one questions you about it. To answer your question with a Bible verse "For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". The proof of the Bible is contained in the Bible but only the Holy Spirit not you can make anyone see it. In other words, "Let go and let God".

All you can say is that you believe the Bible is the word of God. Read the tenets of your religion. It states it is faith-based, meaning you can not prove it.
My faith came from a 10 years reason based struggle. So, my advice is lead your life is a good way and show by your dignity and spirit, that the non-believer can gain peace and understanding by investigating your faith.

You don't prove faith, you live it. Faith is a gift from God not given to all. If they do not believe in God, why would they believe in the Bible. If the believe in God, what need is there of the Bible.

Quoting from the Bible alone won't prove anything to somebody who doesn't believe the Bible, but you need to be able to show that it claims to be the inspired word of God, and that it is without error or contradiction, with itself, history, or science.
The book of Mormon, for instance, claims that it is not the perfect word of God, but just the best that people can remember. As far as 'the Word of God" goes, you can stop right there.
The Koran claims that babies are formed from clots of blood, and eventually bones grow around that and muscles grow around that. A scientific contradiction like that is enough to show that it didn't come from God.
Once you can see that, you can begin to trust the rest of it - the parts that deal with what we can't see.

--We as christians have to realise that not all the people we talk to about God will listen. I know its hard to deal with, because they are members of our own families and our friends, but the best you can do is try. -- Quoating the bible to a non christian is hard, because they dont believe its the words of God like we do, so just try and treat people as you would treat urself and God will give you a helping hand in the process. -- Dont feel dicouraged when people dont accept, because in (matthew, mark, luke and John/ the gospels) it teaches us that not all will accept it. And people even rejected the words of Jesus despite all of the miracles and healings he did. So keep ur head up and just do as much as you can do. -- If they dont here it through you, Maybe they will hear from someone else. Peace out!

area of your question asks approximately what you will desire to have confidence, yet another area asks others approximately what we have confidence. i'm undecided purely the thank you to respond to the two, yet i will supply it a shot. As i've got stated before, it unquestionably relies upon on one's definition of "god." Do i've got confidence that there is a brilliant bearded guy up in the clouds working each and every thing we do exactly like the international is his ant farm? -Uh, no. Do i think of there is a few sort of better capability? -particularly probable. it relatively is no longer common to describe, yet on occasion I purely get the sensation of being in touch with something extra advantageous than i'm. This somewhat occurs whilst i'm outdoors; if the striving rigidity it is mom Nature is not any extra advantageous than human beings then i can't think of what's. some would evaluate that divine, some won't. notwithstanding if or no longer it is "data" i assume relies upon on you. i will say, nevertheless, that i've got confidence what I do per my own life stories and not what somebody else tells me I would desire to have confidence. That being stated, do you ought to think in god (define that as you will)? it relatively is totally as much as you. I won't show you how to comprehend which you will desire to or shouldn't. enable your person life instruction manual you.
