Over the years on the internet, many christians state they will pray for me. Hmm. I don't think all the praying that they do has done much. Here I am still with the same questions and disdain for christianity. I'm still ripping on them and calling god a cυnt. Some good praying does.

So, is the point of praying nothing more than to make yourselves feel better? If so, that's pretty selfish.

I have observed that praying is very much similar to an ostrich putting their head in the ground to "hide" themselves.

Silence whispers to my soul
Be at peace and rest your will.
Quiet all that in you screams,
Of solitude and joy take your fill.
Withdraw into this space,
Listen with a humble heart.
Only then can you go forward
Only then of life can you be a part.
The joy, the peace, the solitude,
How I wish I could forever stay.
But life is beckoning me come forward
Come forward and live this day.
So peace I will carry inside me
Joy and Love I will take to share.
This silence will remain in my heart.
To nourish , to give away, to care.
But oh great silence wait for me,
Be here if I need return a while.
I never leave here empty,
Nor go away without a smile

throughout the NT it says over and over again that the people of Judah loved Jesus and placed their faith in him. It was only the Romans and the Priests that hated Jesus and wanted him dead. Why did they change their belief in him?

My twin sister puts her husband before me & will defend him against me, & she said that the Bible says that you must put your spouse before the rest of your family. Is this correct? If so, what scripture does that say that? If she divorces her husband, then what? Does she still put him before me?

Blood family is permanent, & marriage is not guaranteed to work out all the time. How is some dude gonna intrude my family & my own TWIN pushes me to the side to cater to him because "the bible" says so. She does other un-Christly things, so why is she stuck on that.

When she's going through a crisis, I'm the 1st person she calls on-not her husband. When she needs money, she comes to me-not her husband, so how is she supposed to put him before me.

There seems to be a popular misconception, so allow me to clear it up.
Jewish people do NOT believe that jesus was/is :
1) G-d
2) the Messiah
3) a Prophet
4) a Rabbi
5) or even a Good person.
6) (And some do not believe that he even existed.)

Nor do we believe that the "New Testament" is true.
(So don't try to prove me wrong by quoting it, because you might as well quote the memoirs of the tooth fairy.)

And I know that some of you will say "well, I know a jew who believes in jesus so...".
That is not a good point. There are jews who believe in buddha, allah, atheism, and everything. That doesn't make their beliefs typical of jews. What I described above IS the typical beliefs of jews.

Lastly, jews do not believe that we and christians worship that same god, despite the christian claims to the contrary.

Was I clear?

Please keep your answers short.
I will not read long replies, esp. if they're just copy/pasted from some website (try posting a link instead).

Many have died much more torturous deaths than the crucifixion, for far more trivial issues than the salvation of mankind, right?

And besides, Jesus would KNOW FOR SURE that He would be greeted by his Father on the other side, while we have to rely on Faith. So it must have been easier for Him to die, right?

He's God's freaking Son for Chrissakes!!! He weilds unlimited power! He healed some people. Awed the masses. Wrote the world's best-selling book (by dictation). And He knew as soon as it was over He could get unlimited pleasure in Heaven. So what's the big deal about Him going through one human death experience on Earth?

If God is so much more powerful than us, I would think experiencing one human death, to him, would feel much like a slap on the wrist feels to us. Right? So what's the big deal?

Why do most Christians consider doubt as a sign of a faithless person; even the disciples doubted in Matthew 16, yet they weren't rebuked. If Jesus didn't rebuke, who are you to judge someone who is doubting in their walk?

Now everything on this earth WILL DIE...everything from a bug to well you and me...we all will die....now a bug will have an offspring so that in a sense it continues to live....you and i will have children for them to live and maybe continue on our work.....Now why should God need a son...? I thought he was immortal....would Jesus inherit the world when God dies...?!!?....and if then....shouldn't tare be a Godess for jesus so that he can have a son...?...then wouldn't he be just a living being...?....Please don't say that God would be so evil as to create a Son just so the son could suffer on earth... it just does not sound right....

How does Jesus' crucifixion count as a valid sin sacrifice when:

1.) Humans are not on the list of approved "clean" animals used for such sacrifices (Leviticus 4);

2.) Jesus was not "unblemished" (Lev. 22:22), as is required for such a sacrifice (he was whipped, beaten, and circumcised);

3.) No offering of his blood was made on an altar and his body was not burned (as is also required); and

4.) neither the Roman soldiers nor Jesus himself was a Levitical priest -- the only ones qualified to make such an offering (Exo. 29:9, 40:13-15)?

anyway, i see people asking 'what if' questions and a lot of you can only respond with "my god wouldn't do that" type of answers. why is that? are you not able to think outside the box?

Do you have any negative thoughts, feelings or inner conflicts associated with practicing Yoga and being a Christian? Have you faced negative responses from others regarding your practice? Or do you avoid Yoga totally because of your faith? I am very interested in what you have to say.
