If one turned away from a prophet after Jesus, aren't they the same as the people who rejected the prophets of old?

Some Christians are not aware that most people who come here saying they are atheist are just High School/College kids. You can tell by the way speak...they say things like: At least we can think on our OWN...as if they graduated from mommy & daddy and DEMAND respect now. They all have gone to the atheist web-sites and learned a few new words and they ALL use the same little arguements they've learned there..but don't ever take these rebellious children serious...just look at their avatars they use..CHILDREN! Just watch some will refute me with their wisdom...watch out for children playing!

Do we have the right to say that Buddism, Taoism, Paganism, Christians, Atheists, Hindoism, Muslins or any other religious sect is wrong in their teachings or thinking? Can you say for sure that you are right and everyone else is wrong? Remember other religions also have Books they use that have been around for a long time. I don't think anyone can "prove" beyond a reasonable doubt that theirs is the "right" religion. Can You?

Or maybe he's just lying to us about being the Alpha and Omega. After all, he was a real bastard in the old testament.

So who's your neigbor? I always figured it meant your fellow man, anybody, anywhere, friend or foe. So, therefore, does this ninth commandment apply to what we say about prominent public figures as well? Is it alright to make statements that you know are false about people such as Bush, Kerry, Gore or Hillary? Does a person have a responsiblity to question things that sound like they might be too incredible to be true before spreading them as being the truth? Is a lie really a lie if we believe what we're saying? When an error is pointed out to us, do we have an obligation to tell those with whom we shared our false claim or at least be a little embarrassed or ask for forgiveness? Does this include presenting stories a truth when there is no actual person being lied about, such as a fictitious testimonial?

What does it mean when Baha'u'llah is called a "Manifestation of God"? Does it mean he was God incarnate (as Jesus is viewed in Christianity)?

Your whole way of life-the one you now know-to live in the path of righteousness-to bare all of the toil and sufferage and pain-to boldly go to HELL-through Hell-because according to your Bible-you are to live as Christ would? No more cars-TV-Computers-Pizza-Bar-b-ques on Sunday watching football games-could you possibly give it all up and dress in sageclothe? No more sex or trendy fashions-YOU become a Nun or a follower and worship these things and this way of life-No more music or rock-n-roll-no more nothing except to accept-all so you are not condemned! I didn't think so!

If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the following:

There would be:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere, north and south
8 Africans

52 would be female
48 would be male

70 would be nonwhite
30 would be white

70 would be non-Christian
30 would be Christian

89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual

6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's wealth and all 6 would be from the United States.

80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth
1 (yes, only 1) would have a college education
1 would own a computer

When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and education becomes glaringly apparent.

Can't we agree to disagree and let people believe what they want without trying to prove them wrong. Let them live their lives the way they want to. Why is there this need to bring down Christians and Atheists?

Arabs predict guns won't be silent long in Lebanon.
Despite this peace agreement, just one spark would be enough to reignite the whole region. So there's reason to be skeptical."
"It's true the losses in Lebanon were great. But Hizbollah ... will continue to be a part of the Lebanese government and are now heroes in the Arab world."

I am saying that this is just the beginning of the end and that we can expect and get prepared for Armageddon. That is why I post this scripture to warn people.
Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Do you agree, disagree or have a opinion??

Let's have a look at some of the christian areas in the world and see why they are christian.

Europe

Christianity becomes entrenched as part of European culture as a result of Constantine's wishes.

Africa

European christians invade Africa, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

North America / Australia

European christians invade, steal land from the native population, nearly wipe out the native population and then come in such droves as to come to completely dominate the area after several generation.

Central America / South America / Phillipines

European christians invade, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

The spread of christianity worldwide doesn't quite seem as glorious now does it ?

Islam doesn't fare much better.

Noah had to come to America for a few hundred years to get all the animals, and insects. Technically, he had to go to every place that had animals. Then he had to put then in his ship that was too big to build or float while the all loving god killed most everyone. Then the water had to magically go away, and he had to put the animals back in America, where they magically inbred to the point that kills animals, but they did not. So why do we allow the lying science scum to teach that Columbus found America?

Man has been inventing religions and gods for thousands of years, many of which have lasted thousands of years but eventually died out : sun worship, moon worship, ocean worship, star worship, Egyptian religion, Inca religion, Aztec religion, Maya religion, Native American religion, Greek religion, Roman religion, Aboriginal religion, African tribal religions, mono theistic religions, Maori religion etc etc.

See this link to see a selection of some of the gods that have been created.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/list_of_god...

Why are the current crop of manmade gods any different.

Their main advantage seems to be that improved worldwide centuries over the centuries have enabled them to spread far and wide.

But will this be enough to save them from extinction like all the other religions that have been and gone ?

Evertime I come here and read what the non-believers write I thank God. Can you imagine being where they are...most are just little kids
rebelling against their mommy & daddy. I can't
imagine living in that sewer they must be in. What
a horrible life to sit and throw rocks at something
you don't even believe in...is there anything more
pathetic...then my favorite they say: At least we can THINK for OURSELVES....like...look at me I'm a BIG boy/girl..I can think!!! I believe to them it's like an intellectual revelation...I can THINK!!!

Do you agree?
