But in Deuteronomy the Bible clearly states, "That I am God and I know of no other gods besides me."
How can you worship other gods if there are none?
Also, what about the goddess mother? In order to have spirit children heavenly father has to have sex with goddess mother to make spirit children to populate the planet. But, the Bible says there are no gods besides God.

Anybody that believes and bases their life around the "vision" of a 12-year old contemplating a fish tank, is in trouble already.

First you have to distinguish between God Almighty and gods. I think if you read the Book of Abraham in the Pearl of Great Price, particularly chapter 3, it will give you some insight into what we beleive. God is the Father, the One we worship, the One in charge of everything. Then there are gods. gods with a little g signifies someone who has attained a level of glory high enough to be called a god, in that they have the powers of a god (although everything they do is in accordance with the will of God Almighty). So, for example, Jesus Christ is a god, and there are several others besides that.

So, in answer to your question, how many gods do we believe in? Several. To clarify the point, how many do we worship? Just one. God the Father.

For your infomation there is more than one God, as mention in:
22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us......
(Old Testament | Genesis 3:22)

Notice the "US".

We "worship" God the Eternal Father, we follow in his son Jesus Christ, and believe in the holy Ghost.

17 "...... I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God".
(New Testament | John 20:17)

This states that we worship God the Father, who is Jesus's Father, and our Father also.

And for your last part about God the mother, hope you learn more before jumping into conclusion. Here is some references on our teachings, Doctrine and Covenant is a good place to start.

We believe in 1 God and Jesus Christ, His son. We believe in the trinity Father, Son, Holy Spirit. We believe in the Bible.

Like Jesus I believe there are many gods.
"Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" (John 10:34)
This does not mean I worship many gods though. I only believe in and worship God the Eternal Father, and His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.
