I mean do you just sit at home on your computer all day and try to figure out ways to be rude to others. I didn't ask the question before to offend non believers or WHATEVER, I simply wanted some actually valuable info on the subject. I guess I should have known better, maybe when all of you children go back to school, I can get on here and get some grown up answers eh?

Doesn't this require evolutionists to believe in abiogenesis, otherwise known as spontaneous generation? And was not the theory of spontaneous generation refuted by Louis Pasteur and many other bioligists after him, who tested the theory in many different types of enviroments?

So are you not believing in something which has been proved to be scientifically impossible just because you choose not to want to believe in the only other possibility of the origin of life- creation by God?

So why does everyone who reads the bible bang on about it being something more insidious and darker?

Surely they had to nick the apple before they ate it, do you think they were borrowing it and were going to glue it back onto the tree afterwards?

Is apple nicking especially bad considering Adam was living in the garden anyway? there were no farmers so no land ownership baack then: couldn't have been a sin..."though shalt not covet that apple over there"...never made it in to the ten commandments

So, now that we have cleared up that the bible is completely wrong on this critical part: will this make a difference to everyone's lives?

I am a Christian myself and the thought of salvation hit me. The Bible says that once we believe Jesus died for us on the cross and accept him into our Hearts, we will go to heaven.

Well, what if there is some Pagan out there that knows Jesus died for him and accepts the fact that Jesus did die for him, yet he doesn't want to be a Christian and follow the path of Christianity.

Why do we have to ask Jesus to come into our hearts if we already believe he died for us? Is accepting him into our hearts some way of opening the door to our own path to Heaven?

I appreciate your answers.

Yesterday I asked whether or not there can be free will in a perfect afterlife. Many people responded that, yes, there will be both free will and a complete lack of sin at some point in the future, because God will somehow change the nature of people and/or the earth so that we will never have any reason to choose to sin.

Follow-up question: If it is possible that God can create a place like that, or if it's possible for human nature to be like that, why didn't God make it like that from the very beginning? Why should we be suffering through this imperfect existence?

Paul is adament that we are no longer under the law but under grace, and that the law ought to be done away with. Yet the commandments are part of the law, and Paul himself says that adulterers, idolaters, and the unclean will not inherit the kingdom of God. There are also scriptures that say we cannot sin without the law. How is all this explained??

I've been studying on his Characteristics, and the things that are going to happen before the rapture. I never stay up to date with what is going on in Isreal, but supposedly, the AntiChrist is going to be responsible for the fisrt wave of attacks on Isreal. So would that mean that the ruler of Palestine is the Anti Christ? Also if anyone knows a link that I can go to to read more about it, I would love to have it.

religion has caused more deaths than nature, they have been waiting 2000 years for jesus and he still hasn't turned up. People pray to god but how many people have had their prayers answered? They pray for peace and to end poverty but both are getting worse by the day. There is no physicial proof that god or jesus even existed.

This is a question that is not meant to mock anyone, I am seriously just asking some questions and thinking about some religious topics today.

I just moments ago asked if people were opposed to murder. One person said yes because it was written on the stone tables. I respect that, and I make the assumption he means the 10 Commandments.

So, this question is, how do you the yahoo community of answerorees feel about men dressing up in womens underwear in the privacy of their own home when their are no children around? Is this moral or immorral? (I tried to find something that wasn't "on the stone tablet" but might be considered immorral).

Essentially, I'm trying to dig into this idea of morality and "god's law". Can something only be immorral or moral based on God's law.

Assume if you well the hypothetical women's underwear person is a heterosexual male.

Philippians 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of goodwill:
The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel. What then? Notwithstanding every way, whether in pretence or in truth, Christ is preached: and I therein do rejoice, yea and will rejoice.

Like drowning all the babies in Noah's flood. He felt so bad over that lack of temper control that he gave us the rainbow to atone for the sin and promised never to kill everybody by using the drowning method again. The Bible mentions several other times where God repents. But who forgives him his sins? Who died for his redemption?

I was wondering what you thought about this. If you are a christian, isn't saluting and pledging to a flag a kinda way of worshiping a false idol? I know that you are going to say that it is a form of pride for you country, but isn't pride one of the seven deadly sins? If you think that you would have some good clarification to this, please share.

The only purpose for the christian church to be on earth is missions. Think about it for a moment! No other purpose for us to be here; This is NOT our home, heaven is. Any christian or church that does not take missions seriusly does not have a real vision of Gods purpose in Jesus. Jesus left everything in heaven in order to accomplish his mission here on earth. Once he finished his work He went back home. ´´As the Father has sent me so do I send you´´. ´´As He is in the world so are we in the world´´. They that hear my commandment and does not the things I say shall be called ´´the least´´ in the kingdom of heaven; Those that do shall be called ´´ GREAT´´ in the kingdom of heaven. ´´Examine yourself to see wether you are in the faith´´. May God help us understrand and fullfill His vision, God bless you!!!
