God gave us the Bible is to show us that the human race has no strenghth to be holy pointing us to our need of Him. No matter how perfect man was( Adam and Eve) they fall. No matter if God leaves them to govern themselfs(mans wisdom) with no rules of His they fall (after Fall befor Flood). No matter If God gives them rule clear rules they fall. (Moses to Christ). All the issues mixed in the bibles pages doctrines ect.. are all secondary to the main point that the Bible teaches about man and that is we need help.We can not bring peace ,save the neglected ,feed the starving.Humans have been at it for how many years struggeling to get it all right and we fail at every generation. Why do we fail its the same reason at every turn sin ;pride of leaders ,nonconcern for others, envy of others, hatred, lust ect.. these are what keep us apart as people and countries.Whats the answer? Its not religion or no religion. The answer is to abtain a new heart. How do we get that ?Who can give a new heart?

I don't understand people who attack us. I Believe in Jesus with my whole heart and soul. Why do all the non-believers care what I believe in? Its my life and my soul and I will believe in Jesus no matter what you say. He did die for us! I pray for all you who can't except the truth.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and love of God, and fellowship of The Holy Spirit be you all. 2 Corinthains 13:14

Why do people of the chrisitan faith feel its their business to decide what is our choice and what is not? Can anyone help me with this?

"We have seen his Star in the East, and have (are) come to worship him". That claims to be the Eastern Stars motto. This is a quote from the Magi, or three wise men. I beleive this phrase can actually be found in Matthew, chapter 2, in the Bible. Now, since the Magi came from the East, would not this star be in the western portion of the sky from their vantage? Bear with me.

Ok, in black magick, the term "Eastern Star" is used to refer to Sirius. Ironically, the first star to be seen in the latitude/longitude of the Middle East. Sirius was associated with the Egyptian version of "Satan", Set. And, the inverted pentagram is the sign of Set or Sirius. Often associated with the worship of Satan as well.

Then the colors on the OES emblem. Blue, yellow, green and red. All represent the four magical elements of air, earth, water, and fire. All on the inverted pentagram. These women are invoking demons/dark forces into their lives, knowingly or unknowingly. Who are they worshipping?

Evolution: yeah some DNA, some fossils.

Intelligent Design: Heh, come on now, when the guy whose PHD in meterology says this is credible science, who are you to dispute that?

Unintelligent design: Despite no PHD support, this theory suggests the human being is complex but broken, out of the human comes dark matter and smelly cosmic gasses, its obvious isn't it that the creator was drunk or a moron.

So, which of these theories is the most logical to believe?

VERY INTERESTING -
1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

3.. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq!

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.

9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!

13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)

14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

17. The wise men were from Iraq.

18. Peter preached in Iraq.

19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon,
which was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated it than Iraq.

And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam shou! ld have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse i s from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !

How did that evolved? How there is a female or a male in every animal including humans excepts hermaphrodites animals and plants.

In the Bible God created a Woman and a Man for the purpose of procreation to expand the human race. God gave them special characteristics including different sexual organs to fulfill that purpose.

Tell me the theory that contradicts this. Long and Elaborated. Go crazy.

I have read much scripture that has been posted in this forum over the last two months. The language is burdensome, obviously very dated, highly steeped in metaphor, and is very, very cumbersome to read. And I read a lot. So here's my question: Given the literary skills, or lack thereof, of most of the Bible proponents in this forum, how can they claim to understand the "truth" of these passages? I can't make heads or tails out of most of them.

I think if there were less fundy christians, there would be less atheists.
I don't think there is really a need to make the connection.
I'm not totally against atheism or christianity, but looking for opinions.
