It is also about the body of the unborn child. As a Christian, I feel abortion may be legal but it goes against God's plan. God wants us to love and care about everyone. Abortion should be a answer of last resort, rather that the normal solution. There is almost always a better answer. Adoption - not abortion.
I also recognize the statement that christians and the conservative right are more concerned about the unborn than the born. There is too much truth to that, and that needs to change.

It ain't our business what she does to her body. But, it ain't about her body its about the body of the little person growing inside her. Its not about just her, the child didn't get no choice in the matter. Because the woman was careless a baby has to pay the price. It ain't right.
Regardless if it heart is beating yet or not. It was a life that was meant to be here or else it would not have been conceived in the first place.

Christians want to control every measure of your life.
I love my kids and would die inside if anything happened to them. And there are so many couples out there that would love to adopt a baby from a mother that cannot take care of it.
But imagine if you were raped by a troglodydic, aids-infected, retard, and the doctors tell you that not only will your baby be a vegetable for the rest of his life because he has no brain stem, but you have a good chance of dying during child birth, and due to medical complications you cannot have a caesarian section.
Common sense would be to abort the baby.
But christians don't see it that way.
Not every case is cut and dry, that's why you have to be Pro-Choice.

The first question you have to come to terms with is ,... The child is the child a child from the beginning of conception or not. If you think not then your conscience will take the effects of an abortion easier than a person that thinks it is a child from conception. If you do think it is a child though your body being "your body" has nothing to do with the fact . if it is a child you have the responsibility to protect that child just as if it was in your arms . Just because its my body does not give us the right to kill or abandon Innocent children ... if its not a child then cut it out suck it out burn it out its your conscience.

Life begins at conception.
A human soul doesn't need a heart or brain to exist.
We all have a stake in every child in every womb because that child might be the one to find a cure for cancer, or for aids, or for any number of evils in the world.
Finally, because God sent his son to save humanity, every human being possesses tremendous potential and extraordinary human dignity.
God wouldn't have gone to all the trouble he did to save us, if we weren't something very special to him.
God is in the life business. Every single one of his human creatures is designed to live forever.
When you snuff out a human life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, you're not only committing a crime against nature and a crime against humanity, you're pitting yourself against the all powerful Creator of the heavens and the earth.
And that's just plain dumb.

It is about the baby's right to life. If you can understand the murder aspect that means you understand the baby is alive.... So we are to defend the rights of those that cannot defend themselves.
The mother (with some exceptions) made the choice to engage in a risky act. We whould bear the burden of our sins...... not the unborn baby.

Well, I can only tell you what I believe! And that is that, unfortunately, there are those who like to call themselves Christians and, because they do, think they have the right to point fingers and judge others. This is wrong. We aren't supposed to judge others and be critical of others and be loud and boisterous with our beliefs and opinions. We are to share with the world, quietly and with love in our hearts, what we believe to be right in the eyes of God, and we have the right to vote, etc. I, personally, believe that that, like many other issues in the world today, is between the individual and God! It is not for me to tell you or anyone else what is right in God's eyes unless you ask me or I am truly concerned for you, out of the love in my heart. Unfortunately, the so-called "concern" by some who call themselves Christians, is not because they love you, it's because they think they have the right to judge you. They are wrong!

It isn't a matter of the women's body but as much as the life that is entrusted to her. to me it is the same if a mother would kill a child once it is on the outside of the womb. A life is a life no matter what state it is in. it may sound radical but it is what i believe.

Well the Christian faith has a long history of "Those little women don't know what's best for them, us men-folk better decide for them."
