Why get married to stay together... does the need for it show the relationship is wrong?
Why get married other then the party?

There was a saying that goes like this..

If you love a bird set it free,
if it comes back of its free will it loves you,

if it flies away it was never supposed to be with you...

Its not the marraige that keeps you together

Its the emotional bond and how you develop. Ie you may love each other but lives take different paths or you end up seeking different needs possibly around kids etc...

But mostly why should you need a piece of paper, ceremoney, promise to dieties etc...

Surely if you really love each other and are compatable thats all you need?

Romans 15:4

Perhaps it is preposterous order to teach first, learn after;
"foolish" to be law law after "we are delivered from the law".

"Go ye(do err) and learn what meaneth I will have mercy, and not sacrifice"; and that the "not" part is not then, not now, not ever: Ps 40:6; Ps 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; Mt 12:7; Heb 10: all; Rev 22:21.

. . . since we cannot possibly know everything their is to know about the universe, we must stay open to the possiblity that God exists? Why or why not?

(for simplicity's sake, assume the God of the Bible. If you want to talk about some other god just say so in your post to avoid confusion.)

Or how about somebody that is intelligent that gets in a car crash, and becomes a vegetable after living a life of sin. Will he go to hell if he didn't make jesus his saviour before he became a vegetable?

I have my own answer but curious what you people thought, or don't think?

What do my fellow Theists believe would be required to convince a person of Gods existence? I am not trying to convert or anger anyone with this question. I am just wondering what type of PROOF you say you need. I am guessing that physical evidence is neccessary?

I don't care what the ACLU says. Freedom of religion is one thing, but eating children is wrong.

I am a convert to Islam from Christianity. I have always found the relations between Jews, Muslims and Christians to be very strange and wondered if there are any out there who are very serious about there religion but interested in talking to Muslims about God, religion etc. I have only spoken to one or 2 Jews in my lifetime about religious matters and am interested to understand what how Jewish people think about things, how they see things, how they see God etc. I am more interested in the individual perceptions than the scriptural ones. Please, I am not looking for argument but interested in Human relations. As i have been taught by the Quran that Allah created us into many tribes and nations that we may know each other not that we may despise each other.

We who believe in God truly believe that God always answers prayer. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes wait. Do you thank Him personally for the no's, and the wait's as much as for the yes? Why? God recently answered a prayer of mine that I thought was for the best with a NO. I thank Him and glorify Him because everytime He has said NO something better comes along that He says Yes to.

If you believe that God does not exist, what is your purpose for living? Where did the sun, moon, stars and rainbows come from? What about the air you breath and the food and water you consume? Think about it. :)

What does it mean to follow Jesus? What did Jesus come to teach us? Did he claim to be "God"? Did he ask us to worship him or just to follow what he teaches? As a convert to Islam from Christianity I have noticed that most Christians believe they are the only ones who believe in and Follow Jesus. I am a Muslim, I Love Jesus(peace be upon him) and I am awaiting the day he returns to restore the rule of Truth on God's earth.
