The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in a cave in close proximity to the dead sea (near town od Qumran) in 1947. The Dead Sea Scrolls are the oldest copy of the Old Testament/ Hebrew Bible ever found. Isaiah 53 (prophetic Old Testament book in the Hebrew Bible) was practically unchanged. The Dead Sea Scrolls were compared to another ancient Hebrew Bible tht was dated w/ an 850 yr. difference. This proves the validity & unchanging nature of the Bible.
As to your question, the Son of God is the Messiah. Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah 53. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=29&chapter=53&version=9
Also, please read the book of John. Jesus is God.

Caesar put on coins "Caesar the son of God."

Royalty often considered themselves the sons of god(s).

Ever wonder why Jesus was crucified? Not the Christian reason but the reason the Romans had. It was because he disrespected the king by calling himself the son of god. He was on trail for this and refused to stop doing it so they killed him. Kings killed a lot of innocent people in various horrid ways so I don't see what makes Jesus so special.

Because He was also the Son of Man.

Daniel 7:13-14 quoted a prophecy which Christ fulfilled, referring to Him as the Son of Man.

One of the tenets of writing a readable story is that you pick a recognizable subject. The more recognizable the subject matter, the more likely readers you should get. The name Jeshua or Jesus brings billions of dollars to Israel annually in hotel accommodations, bus tours, food and souvenir sales. Any time His name appears on Times or Newsweek magazines, they sell out.

To demon-possessed people there is one reaction to His name only: FEAR. That fear manifests in fright in some, attempts at ridicule by the esoterically-deficient and spiritual unwise and a search for attention from the insecure. For persons who have prophetic gifts, or gifts of discernment, we are able to recognize the types of spirits that manifest based on the types of characterizations people assign to the most-feared name among every type of evil spirit: insecurity, love of attention spirit, etc etc.
Incidentally, Jeshua is the only person prophesied about, not once but multiples of times by Hebrew prophets Micah, Zechariah, Isaiah, Moses, confirmed by over 90 suras in the Holy Koran, the only person that fulfilled over 300 prophecies. He is the only person among God's sons that was spoken about prophetically by Kings David and Solomon and in the Hebrew texts of the Torah; his name is mentioned over 1000 times as Messiah--the one messenger that would arrive when Israel would be without kings in Judah and Israel and firstfruit of the resurrection. Daniel gave us specific times when He would be born and when he would exit. What is so amazing is that that even though writings from 66 books compiled over 6000 years have been translated and stored in the Bible, Jeshua's life on earth confirm thousands of the prophesies previously mentioned. Don't you wish you could attract one millionth of the amount of His attention?

Jesus of Nazereth went around healing the sick, raising the dead, making the lame to walk and curing the lepers.

Fred of Jerusalem went around making tall people short, raising acne on teenagers, and causing lisps.

Bobby of Bethlehem went around making sheep cute.

Hank of Tel Aviv was the first to do the "Pull my finger" gag. And I do mean gag!

So you can see there was quite a difference in styles.
