The answer is never no. It's always yes, it just doesn't happen instanteously. What we consider to be no answers is just US changing our minds about wanting that particular thing in the first place. But it's always yes. That's why they say be careful what you ask for you may just get it. Sometimes it manifests in hours, sometimes weeks, months. Sometimes it may take years. But it does come into fruitation if you are persistent and faithful in what you want.

God never told me no. He just never answered. If I'd ever heard God say 'no' to one of my prayers I would not now be an atheist.
It's like some Christian song--I think it was a Chris Rice song--where he says something like
'I'd gladly take no for an answer just to know I'd heard You speak.'
It was this lyrics that helped open my eyes to the fact that 'no response' is not an answer of 'no' or anything else. I know in the song Chris decided to believe anyway (well, duh it's a Christian song). I choose the other conclusion.

I'm sure many times we have prayed and got no result from the prayer .. only to look back in hindsight and think .. thank you !
im sure god knows what we need more than we do .. most times we pray for what we want and not what is best for us
i have changed how i pray now and leave it open to god to do whats best .. i trust he does xx

Yes, I happily thank them for their guidance. I trust them. A quick look over my life will confirm that I don't always know what's best for me in the long run. I usually get into trouble when I push real hard for things to be my way---and only my way.

Proverbs 28:9: He this is popping his ear away sort listening to the regulation (of God)---even his prayer is something detestable. James 4:3: You do ask, and yet you do no longer acquire, because you're requesting a incorrect purpose, which you will dissipate it upon your cravings for sensual exhilaration. ask your self this question--Do i decide directly to be conscious of God different than whilst something is going incorrect in my life and then i decide on him to restoration it? this is intense selfishness. Now you're saying he's not genuine basically because of the fact he does not do what you decide on him to once you decide on him to? James a million:6,7: enable him shop on asking in faith, no longer doubting in any respect, for he who doubts is nearly a wave of the sea pushed by utilising the wind and blown approximately. in certainty, enable no longer that guy think that he will acquire something from God.

A few times I have truly felt thankful for not having some things that I usually want, and I did thank Him for that.

I have never thought about it that way. We need to give God the praise and glory even when we don't get what we "think" we need. He always provides and He always does it right on time.

Yes, No is sometimes a very good thing. After all He is our creator and knows best.

Yes...
For He knows what's best for us... He will lead us to our "goals" in His way and not like the waywe want it...
So it's just like you wrote... One no can lead to a "bigger YES"...
That's why I think we should thank God for everything...
Because His answers (even a NO) comes out of Love...
