Dear Gungnir: I fully agree with you.
My question was more like a test.

Yes and no. I realize there are many different ways, but I find many religions have become more aggresive lately. That I will not tolerate, it is my decision.

Yes I have. I have been taught to respect people in whatever faith, beliefs and traditions they have been brought upon. Sadly though, there are indeed many ignorant people who still abuses other's face while trying to shove their beliefs in my throat. Only than, i would stand tall and be firm that no one can make me change my faiths or beliefs, unless i want to myself. Sometimes i wish people would take a step back and ask themselves if they have any right to do that.

So to your question, yes. I am more tolerant and adaptable to people in the environment I'm in. Whatever race or religion, i expect the same respect that i give out upon others.

I am tolerant of whatever anyone wants to believe. I respect beliefs different from my own but where my tolerance goes out the door is when I hear someone say their way is the only way. That is what causes all the problems.

Yes I have. I've always been. I see no reason to judge someone negatively or assume that their beliefs are wrong compared to mine, when there's nothing on Earth that can positively say that one way is the right way. What we were given, either by a God or it being just the way it is, was a choice to make our own decisions and have our own opinions and beliefs. I'm not going to criticize someone for using that ability just like you don't criticize someone who can sit or breathe.

I am tolerant of all religions, as I don't have one of my own, as long as they do not come to my door with their pamphlets, leave their flyers or books on the public toilets, etc... I guess it's great if you have a religion, no matter what it is, as long as you are not being pushy about it to other people. If I had a dollar for every Baptist, Jehovah, Mormon, etc... that came to my door I'd be rich. Why don't other religions do this? I applaud the fact that they do not, you never see Muslims, Buddhists, etc... coming to your door asking you if you believe in a higher being and to come to church or you're going to burn in hell.

Yes. Can't force feed belief to anyone, otherwise, we're just exacerbating religious animosity. Tolerance, on the other hand shows maturity.

I have learned to accept the differances between all Christian religions, but other religions i still do not accept.Just recently i somewhat rediculed a man, by telling him ''allah....That'd be a good name for an olive company''.Do i feel remorse? No.There is only one God, and i will not show respect to those who flat out deny Him.

Most of us are forced to be tolerant because someone out there thinks they have beliefs that gives them the right to kill us and take our property and women.

I am not tolerant. I am forced to be tolerant.

The world, United Nations and the superpowers force victims to be tolerant.

Yes definitely, I have also learned to let go of many myths and misinformation I have long held or believed about others and their beliefs or non beliefs. It has not made me doubt my own faith but it has strengthened my faith in humanity.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

Yes, I think so. I've learned a bit more of several religions/faiths, and I've also learned to be more tolerant.
