I never answer a single question with condemnation about the Word of the Lord. The Lord said agree with your adversaries quickly. You are not to argue amongst yourselves or with others. I share my beliefs and that is it. Everyone on this earth can hear the Word of the Lord pretty freely, if they choose to listen. Of course how does one argue with love, joy, peace and compassion for others. This is Jesus teachings not mine. I have no problems with those that have a different belief system than me. You are either a Christian or not, your choice. I have one problem with a particular sect of people that swears they will convert all of the world to their way of thinking, this is the Christian infidels, the Atheists, and the Jews by force if necessary or by death if necessary. But I think this is more a political agenda than a belief system. I think this particular sect wants to rule the world. They are a little frightening. But as a Christian I will keep, keeping on.

Love is the only factor that's common, by way of all people. No topic your faith, intercourse or ethnicity - Love (within the sort of kindness and compassion) can see by way of any change. Love can unfold simply as speedily as hate, it is only now not as "exciting" so we do not see plenty of it within the media... however it particularly is in every single place. We must all quit as soon as in a even as and respect what you factor out. We are all of the equal. We had been born the equal manner and got here into the arena with the equal clean slate with which to construct on and be trained.. and the variations among us AREN'T dangerous. They are a reward! We could be trained not anything from each and every different if all people did and proposal the equal unique manner. Life could be rather dull, if now not useless. Sometimes it is rough to look by way of our variations once we are so passionate approximately our ideals or outlooks, as each and every folks feels we're "correct". It could be sensible for us to take into account (extra regularly) the traditional thread of existence that runs by way of all folks AND respect our variations for including variety and choices to our existence revel in!

I like the first reply. Nice play on words. =D
But in response to the question, what is tolerance? Maybe that should have been your question. I have no problems or qualms in life with those who do not share my beliefs. It doesn't cause me to lose any sleep at night. If you're always worrying about what others think, you'll lose yourself and miss out on the greater things in life.

I think "tolerate" misses the point entirely. All the major faiths and most of the minor ones describe love and acceptance of our fellow human beings as the desired outcome, not tolerance.
Anyone who thinks they have a monopoly on the truth, that their little mind can completely understand all the forms a Creator might take is arrogant to the point of laughability. But we love them anyway ;)
Strive to embrace differences, not distance yourself from them.

I believe our beliefs should be put on the table so people can make informed choices. Churches should not hide their beliefs on claim a tiered religion.

Have non-believers done the same? Do gays hang out with and accept bible banging fundamentalists? Do "liberals" accept and tolerate evangelicals? The answer to both of these questions is "no, they do not."
It's a two-way street.

Tolerate them? Heck, some of them make up some of my greatest friends!
"Non-believer" doesn't necessarily mean "evil intolerant person" y'know... (although you probably couldn't tell from some of the posts on this board!)

i never believe that one should force one's belief on another. Respecting other people's beliefs should be part of one's lifestyle.
"To love one's neighbour" means tolerating your neighbours' own beliefs.
