I am just seeking God in my life, I have been a long time athiest and I am ready to find God. If you could please help me find a way to bring God into my life the right way. It's hard to go from not believing to believing over night. I just want it to happen with a whole heart. Not ready to attend church need another alternative.

He destroys his own creation rather than teach (Sodom and Gomorra). Even kills a woman running away from Sodom and Gomorra for being neurotic. He doesn't stress how important something is and then banishes you for not knowing (Adam and Eve). Asks a father to kill his own son for no good reason (Abraham). Drowns the world of non-believers out of his infinite compassion (Noah’s Ark).

All the Bible really says is if you keep your head down and do as you’re told, you’ll be rewarded in the end for being such a good sheep. It teaches us to be a possession of God, a pawn, instead of tolerance and understanding. How about reading Steinbeck or Hemingway? I mean why would you even want to go to Heaven if you had to worship this bloodlust God? Life was hard back then when the Bible was being written so of course people imagined God was all these things, but now in this day an age, it corrupts people's potential to learn more, willingness to read books and watch tearjerker movies, etc...

Isaiah predicted the coming of Jesus perfectly that the Messiah would be exaulted but first marred more than any man and then die as our sacrificial atonement for sins! why do some people say im not Jewish if i believe in Jewish Isaiah and Jewish Jesus-truth is they are not Jewish-no matter where they go to worship-if u go into a garage -does that make u a car?

Isaiah stated 700bce before we lost our temple and lamb sacrifice for sins- because God already gave us the Messiah-so we didnt need that any more-
"He shall be exaulted, but first he will be marred more than any man. He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins." Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs 12
please pray for these people to stop lying and believe Isaiah and Jesus too

Jesus stated- "Behold i stand at your heart door and knock, if you believe my word and open the door and let me in, i will deliver you from sin, and become your friend."
So i prayed-Come into my heart forgive me & help me, amen." thanks!

This is basically why a casual athiest will tell you why he doesnt believe because "God didnt show up when I wanted him to." The athiest assumes God has never intervened in human affairs at any moment so thus he is imaginary. Just because God doesnt come over your house and play checkers with you does not mean hes not real. Human nature is funny, what we dont know we dont control what we dont control we fear what we fear we hate and what we hate we destroy(at least attempt to). So we have destroyed God in our minds because we just dont like being pushed around. No ahiest will admit this, it will destoy the buzz they get of being the almighty humanitarian. Its makes perfect sense if you are afraid something to avoid it or try to destroy it.

I mean no disrespect to anyone, but how do we know? I did go to a born-again christian church for a few years, but I left. The Bible is a book written such a long time ago, and no one has ever answered my question about this. They say just have faith. I am a person who needs proof. I studied a lot about the Holocaust and all of those wonderful Jewish people who perished at the hands of those animals. I ask my friend Josephine who is a strict born again christian where all those people went since they did not believe in Jesus. She says well of coarse they went to Hell where they will perish in the enternal flames forever. I just can not accept that. Also, I watch a lot of shows about the paranormal like Sylvia Browne and John Edwards. I saw a photo a man took of his 2 year old son and there was a person lurking in the background that was not there when the photo was taken. Sylvia said that was the childs spirit guide captured on the photo. How do you explain this?

Are we blinding ourselves because it is said noone knows the
"day or hour"? Doesn't it say that it will take place when the Seventh angel blows his trumpet? Or do we ignore this revelation
because we do not want to deal with the suffering that is predicted
to take place?
