each of us is the image of god.
each of us is different
each of us is changing evolving and not constant/static/dead.
god is everywhere, ever changing, present all around us,all the time and most importanyly will remain so even in our ever changing forms
all of these are exqusitely projected in us ,each of us, in nature ,in every thing around us
even when we say we are so and so....we never speak of our physical form.....look at our own transformation from ababy into an adult and beyond....we are always talking of our essence...of which the body is a projection
god is there everywhere...evercahnging...omnipresent.....in the sounds..the lights and the energies and consciousness around us

God is the universe. The universe is God.
I used to have a more anthropomorphic view of Him/Her, but the Christian idea of God is flawed and doesn't make sense.
So why do I say the universe is God? The universe is like an explosion of sorts, but it's contained, sort of in this state of being in control and out of control at the same time. So are stars, planets, atoms, you, and me. We are all made in God's image.

Big bright energy, loving-friendliness energy, streaming forth from the Source, and into myself at every second.
And yes, the image has changed, but the feeling has remained the same.
Blessed Be.

I think he is an invisible pink elephant who poops out diamonds (the scientists who say diamonds come from carbon being exposed to extreme heat and pressure are just denying the truth of god)

The Sri Brahma-samhita (a philosophical treatise said to have been spoken by the first created living being in the universe, lord Brahma) gives a very vivid description of the Lord as follows:
"I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is adept in playing on His flute, with blooming eyes like lotus petals, with decked with peacock's feather, with the figure of beauty tinged with the hue of blue clouds, and His unique loveliness charming millions of cupids. I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, round whose neck is swinging a garland of flowers beautified with the moon-locket, whose two hands are adorned with the flute and jeweled ornaments, who always revels in pastimes of love, whose graceful threefold-bending form of Syamasundara is eternally manifest. I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose transcendental form is full of bliss, truth, substantiality and is thus full of the most dazzling splendor. Each of the limbs of that transcendental figure possesses in Himself, the full-fledged functions of all the organs, and eternally sees, maintains and manifests the infinite universes, both spiritual and mundane. I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is inaccessible to the Vedas, but obtainable by pure unalloyed devotion of the soul, who is without a second, who is not subject to decay, is without a beginning, whose form is endless, who is the beginning, and the eternal purusa; yet He is a person possessing the beauty of blooming youth." Brahma-samhita 5.30-33.
There is a tremendous amount of information in these texts and it would take a book to explain it all. But the essential points are that the Lord is eternally a person, the original source of all spiritual and material manifestations and He is obtainable only by pure devotional service. You can download the complete Brahma-samhita here: http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Sri_Brahma_Samhita.pdf. Included is the original Sanskrit, translations and explanations. Also I'm providing a link to a painting of the Lord that has been done following the decriptions of Him provided in Sanskrit texts like the Sri Brahma-samhita, Srimad-Bhagatam and others. http://www.krishna.ie/artgallery/index.htm
