Has God ever spoken to you directly?

He spoke to me, but only through my Rice Krispies, so it was kind of ambiguous I guess.

He said "beware of people who say I talk to them. And get back on your meds ASAP."

And I totally agree, some of the people on this thread are verrrrrry scary. Hope y'all don't show up dead in Guyana surrounded by pitchers of Kool-Aid.

If you mean have I heard his voice like I hear another person talking to me... no sadly I haven't...
BUT
I have been broadsided by God before...
I was at a convention recently and saw some Jewelry, a cross that I wanted but I didn't have the money to spend.. I had already spent a lot that weekend.. So...responsibly I went home that night and went to my mail box and there was a check no joke for just under the amount I needed to buy the cross.. like 5 dollars shy..

So.. the next day I went back to the convention and asked them how much the cross was and if they could do any better on the price not telling them I had gotten the check in the mail. They lowered the price 5 dollars and I had just enough...

Coincidence on all of it? I don't think so.. I still get the heebie jeebies thinking about it.. it was really cool.

Yes.
I didn't need to write it down, it penetrated to the deepest part of me.

I had been sick for a long time.
I went into coma.
I came back knowing something had happened but didn't know what.
I had never read the Bible, never gone to a evangelical church.
Was a former catholic. Not practicing for 20 years.

I was still sick, lung problem.
One day I got this feeling I was going to die that night.
I resigned myself to it.
I stood in my living room and looked around.
I said to myself, I'll tell you this, if this was life, it was no big deal.

Then it happened.
A voice.
"behold I stand at the door and knock, if you open the door, I'll come in and dine with you and you with me."

I knew who it was immediately. It was Jesus.
Months later when I was reading the book of revelation, in the third chapter verse 20. I saw a variation of what was said to me.
What was said to me was similar to the verse but not exactly.

Out of my mouth came these words. Jesus you came to save sinners, come into my heart and save me, and give me the new mind and the new heart. I don't know how to this day I got these words. I had never heard them before in my life.

And so it happened--the great burning in me.
The crying that went on for hours.

God speaks to me every day. That is the kind of relationship I have with Him.

One night I let my sons pug dog out to relieve himself. I broke my own rule, and let him out alone. Five minutes later, we could not find him. I searched into the night, until God told me to stop searching for the dog, because there was nothing I could do for him, because he was dead. I was told by God to wait until the next morning and He would tell me exactly where my son's dog was. So I obeyed and went to sleep.

The next morning God woke me up by saying to me. "go past your mail box and your will find your son's dog on the side of the road dead. That is exactly where I found him. I cried over that dog as if it were a child I had lost. Then God told me to stop crying, and for me to be greatful for the 2 times He spared my son from death in the car crashes my son should have died in. I never cried over that dog again.

God talks to me every day. He lets me know when He is proud of me and when He is upset with me.

One day, my husband was going in our truck to help a disabled friend of ours. He had no money for gas or any gas in the truck,just fumes, thats how empty that tank was, but he prayed to God, and told him that he trusted in God to make a way for him to get to our friends house, if it was God's will that he do so.
While backing up the truck out of the dirveway. our dog came prancing up to the truck with something laying across inside her mouth. She showed my husband she had something, and he got out fo the truck and pulled a five dollar bill out of her mouth. My husband praised God, thanked Him for the gift of five dollars and went to buy gas and help our friend.
