Are we blinding ourselves because it is said noone knows the
"day or hour"? Doesn't it say that it will take place when the Seventh angel blows his trumpet? Or do we ignore this revelation
because we do not want to deal with the suffering that is predicted
to take place?

"Then Jesus told them another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. That night, when everyone was asleep, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and then left. Later, the wheat sprouted and the heads of grain grew, but the weeds also grew. Then the man's servants came to him and said, 'You planted good seed in your field. Where did the weeds come from?' The man answered, 'An enemy planted weeds.' The servants asked, 'Do you want us to pull up the weeds?' The man answered, 'No, because when you pull up the weeds, you might also pull up the wheat. Let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest time. At harvest time I will tell the workers, "First gather the weeds and tie them together to be burned. Then gather the wheat and bring it to my barn..." Then Jesus left the crowd and went into the house. His followers came to him and said, "Explain to us the meaning of the story about the weeds in the field." Jesus answered, "The man who planted the good seed in the field is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed are all of God's children who belong to the kingdom. The weeds are those people who belong to the Evil One. And the enemy who planted the bad seed is the devil. The harvest time is the end of the world, and the workers who gather are God's angels. "Just as the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all who cause sin and all who do evil. The angels will throw them into the blazing furnace, where the people will cry and grind their teeth with pain. Then the good people will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. You people who can hear me, listen." (Matthew 13:24 - 43 NCV)

According to Jesus, the people of God and the people of the devil will not be seperated untill the end of the world!

What I believe the rapture does NOT take place at the 7th trumpet in Revelation. The 7th trumpet mentions no resurrection. The rapture happens before the 7 years of tribulation. Jesus said..You will not see me again until you (Jews) say, Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord. That is the second coming after the Great Tribulation.

Personally, if the pre-tribulation rapture is destined to happen, I think it will happen soon. I think that the Israel/Lebanon deal will start heating up, with several nations joining the struggle against Israel, including Russia and Iran. As a result, God will protect Israel, a peace treaty will be drawn up with Israel, and the rapture will happen if it is supposed to. This is pure speculation.

As for "noone knows the day or hour" that is very true. Not even Jesus knew the day or hour, meaning that the time that it will happen will be sudden and not narrowed down to time past the day or time. If you interpret this loosly, it could mean that it is possible that we will be able to very locally guess the month or week of the event's happening.

No, the Bible doesn't say when the rapture will take place. Like you said, only the Father knows. And by the way, the 7th angel blowing his trumpet is one of the judgments, not a signal of the start.

Although the word "rapture' will not be found in the bible. It's essence is there in Reveleation 4

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Jesus here, is calling His Church and saying :"come up hither" then He is saying that He will show us what will happen next now that we are no longer there. Prasie the Lord

If you have accepted Jesus as your savior, you will be among those taken up in the rapture by Jesus. He will find you. Do not look for Him to come as a man who claims to be the Christ, for many will come and decieve people into bleeving that, through miracles and lies. The next miracle that Jesus performs will be the rapture of his Church. Jesus will come on a cloud and not place one foot onto the ground. You will see Him on that cloud coming from the east.

Christ is returning in our lifetime, accept Jesus as your savior today, and he will take you with Him when He returns. Praise the Lord!!!!

When is the seventh angels trumpet going to sound? We still don't know? there will be signs pointing to the time, but as you quoted "no man knows the hour".
And I don't think you mean the 'rapture' as promoted by the media today, do you?

NO.

However, there are indications.
There is many times that it is said on the third day or after 3 days in the New testament.
33 times in all.
In Peter it is said a day to the Lord is like a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day.
2000 years has gone by. 2 days.
We are in the third day.
Think about it!

The bible says that we will not know the time nor the hour but that we will know the season.

Right now we are in that season

there is not much time left to give your life to Jesus

Better Hurry and commit to Christ or you will miss the rapture
