Not every Christian believes in a pretribution rapture.

For those of you who believe in it, what scriptures do you base this on to say Christians will not have to go through the tribulation.

Should we...yes!..I think!
God in heaven I pray for those who come here to mock your name, that come here to reassure themselves that you don't exist..but they come.
God I ask you to break down the barriers, let those who believe they have gone to far and could never be accepted to have a change of heart..change their hearts Lord..let them know if they will only trust you for just a moment you will meet them as you have done in countless millions of lives...let them ask..let them stop the mocking for only a moment and seek and find..let them know they can escape from where they are. Lord I ask you touch them as they read this..right now in the name above all names Jesus!
Father..we don't care if they mock or hate..they hated you first..we are willing!
Amen!

Do you agree?

I read and heard on the catholic radio, the catholic hierarchy, proclaiming that the book of genesis, specifically creation, is wrong.
I read and heard on the catholic radio that the coming of Christ is figurative instead of literal, this is a little more accepted by some religions like the church of Christ.
Catholics, do assume the hierarchy is right because of their title or do you agree with it?
If your not catholic then please dont answer.

I guess part of the problem is that most of the people here that talk about spirituality are Christians, but just to set the record straight I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN!

I don't like Christianity. I think it is more about justifying a social order than spirituality.

It is a common teaching in many religions that you must figure things out for yourself. I don't take what others write in books as automatic truth no matter who they claim they are.

Is his ego really that big that he has to say i can prove i am better then you. What kind of god is that. Is he really showing us love. He should've just admitted I screwed up with this first set of humans and angels and stared over. That what all this nonsense is about right.

Look at the region from which he was born and raised. It's the Middle East and I'm sorry..middle easterners do not look white. Also, as a child, if you study the bible, you will know that Jesus was hidden in Egypt to avoid slaughter of male children at the time. Egypt is NORTHERN AFRICA..northern Africans also do NOT look white. Yet the depiction of Jesus is some dude who looks like he could ride a Harley with a black leather vest and shades...blue eyes..long brown hair and a beard. Why do we persist with this fake image of Jesus???

Even though i am sure most muslims have no clue what the koran says, just like the bible thumpers that come on here and preach hate, hell, and some one and only path to heaven. Atleast most middle east muslims can actually say they are illiterate, not sure about christains justificaion.

but hey you have to ask these things.

Koran
"The Cow"

2.62: Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the f Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.

I heard many people say they believe in the bible because of the values it teaches. Well, I say to you, these values are common sense values. Why do you need to believe in a book and read it all the time in order to learn these values???

I ask because Christians post me answers like this

YOU WILL BURN IN HELL FOR THAT YOUNG MAN.

YOU BETTER REPENT BEFORE THE DARK LORD TAKES YOUR IMMORTAL SOUL.

Does God really visit this site?

Those who would debunk spiritual beliefs keep saying 'prove it'. However, every culture has their own spiritual beliefs. Are the minority who say their is no spirituality so egotistical as to assume that they are right and the majority of people throughout history are wrong?

Is science a new cult then, based on a philosophy that denies the existence of anything that can not be physically experienced or tested?
