Your church is retarded. Oh we must turn out the lights and not take phone calls on a Saturday... Let's waste an entire seventh of our life, because that's what God wants.
Do you realize that if you live to be 70 years old you will have squandered 10 years doing nothing on the sabbath? Why would a perfect being want you to waste 10 years of your life doing nothing and a further 23 years sleeping?
No wonder so few people follow that crap.

Hello. I am a Seventh-day Adventist. I am a member of a very small church near Florida. The closest church from my house is 45 minutes away. We are out there in what seems like a slowly growing population. My husband graduated from Georigia Cumberland Academy.

I am! And I know how you feel! People just don't understand what an adventist is. It's hard to explain to them why i go to church on saturday instead of sunday. We only have three churches here in my town
