Do you think that a Christian woman who chooses to dress modestly and simply in long skirts and shirts to the elbow and who wears a scarf on her head to show her submission to her husband as well as to remind her who she is and who she represents is being weird? or strange? What is so strange about choosing not to be a "slave" to fashion and immodesty?

All the following is true.
My best friends wife recently passed away. She had a brain hemorragh and, to all intents and purposes died, in his arms. The life support machine was switched off after 2 weeks, and only after both her corneas and her liver were taken for other people. She was a Christian, as is he. One month after the funeral he found her love letters to another man. She was hoping her devoted husband would leave her.
She had no time to repent her sins. The husband is, frankly, in some kind of living hell.
Where is she?, .... apart from the affair she was a good person.
I assure you the husband is a good man.

Has any christian who received the Holy Spirit and was baptized, have you ever had faith to walk on water like Jesus did, since he used the Holy Spirit when he was in flesh and not his divine nature to do his miracles. And have you ever did anything else like receive a language to preach to another country like Japan.

This is a new industry, but "Revelation" prophecy has been around since the beginning of the Christian Church. The Catholic church at that time was obsessed with the devil and anti-Christ. Now, it seems to be the Protestant's turn. The actually end will be more insidious than as simply straight forward as these books suggest. Satan is more shred than some Baptist Preacher might give him credit for.

so many times, i am going through a crisis and i've heard preachers say, strengthen your faith...you have no faith. when sometimes it's the problem you are facing. of course we have to have faith but sometimes you need comforting, you need love..you don't need some one beating you in the head telling you you need faith, and they don't even tell you how to have it.....?

For all the atheists out there. This is a challenge to you. Like an experiment. Then wait at least a couple of days and see if anything different happens in your life." Knock and the door shall open, ask and you shall receive." Just try and have an open mind.

I was raised a Catholic but have always been a doubting Thomas... too wrapped up in scientific and logical thinking to "believe" in things as abstract as God, Jesus, Heaven, etc. It just seems too unlikely to me. How do I get over that doubt? I want to beleive, but I just don't seem to have it in me.

Quiz: Try and see if your assumptions are right or wrong. I will answer them later.Guess something about the following people.
1. Woman wearing long skirt, sleeves to elbows, dark head scarf covers head, simple and plainly dressed.
2. Dirty, messy and poorly dressed man walking around streets talking to no one and sleeping in park.
3.A rich young man suddenly stops wearing nice clothes, working at a great paying job and goes around wearing plain brown sack cloth for clothing. Has no interest in the fun things he liked before.
What do you think you KNOW about these 3 people?

When people pray why do they get mad at God when they don't get the answer they were looking for saying God didn't answer them?

God said he answers all prayers not that you are going to like all his answers. Just because you don't like his answer doesn't mean he didn't answer your prayer. God gives you the answer that is best for you.

Some pray for loved ones not to die or be healed. However, that person ends up dying. God answered your prayer, you weren't listening. He probably told you it was that persons time to go. Maybe he told you that person was going to have a miserable life if the live and you are just being selfish to want them to stay.

Just as I asked this question. I may not like the responses I get but they are still responses to my question and they still exist. So, to those that ask do God answer all prayer? Yes he does. Are you going to like all his answers? No, probably not. But, are they still answers to your prayer whether you like them or not? Yes

Those Law are just for the Jews. Gentiles are not bound by them. The only laws mentioned in Torah for non-Jews are the seven laws of Noahide.

Of course this raises another question, if Jesus came to free us of the law and the law only applies to Jews; how does a non-Jew benefit from his death?
