Man can not be perfect, he can at best try to be nearer to perfection. Perfection is always yet to be.

Perfect to who? Perfection is a matter of perception. You may be perfect in one persons eyes and a total looser in someone else's. People, men included should only try to be perfect in their own eyes. Because the only person that will be in your life forever is you.

"Perfect" by Hebrew/Greek definition means to become mature and complete. In that sense Yes, man can become perfect. But to be perfect ie. sinless, it is impossible.

We can be "perfect" in that we obey God to the best of our ability. I'm not gonna talk doctrine, but God said, "be ye holy as I am holy." Pick your inner brain, and you will know if you are truly doing your best for God.
