the problem is, that people will always find ways of forming groups that lash out against each other. If there was no religion, there would be ideology, like Communism, or cult of personality. So getting rid of religion wouldn't do anything. Same thing for politics.

Yes but then the world would be an anarchy letting the m,urderers, rapists, and otehr lunatics loose in the world because politics make laws.
it would be better if people could learn to accept eachoterhs beleifs

well one must look at it more closely and see what is causing the moral code to stay in place to a degree....I'm afraid it is held in place by our laws and moral leadings brought on by our individual beliefs.......there are some who rebel against mans laws and wreck havoc on the world like terrorists and murders and serial killers and such..but .if we did away with religion and politics then I'm afraid we would be a world in mass chaos and no one would be held accountable to anyone and the world would be a horrible place to be in

We can't get rid of religion and politics. They both involve opinions and as long as there are choices there will be opinions. We have questions and if we can't answer those question we create answers (opinions and rationalities).

I really think there would be more peace if there were no religion..unfortunately I htink that there needs to be some sort of government..for the simple fact that people would totally run amok and do stupid stuff if there weren't any laws.
