For all the atheists out there. This is a challenge to you. Like an experiment. Then wait at least a couple of days and see if anything different happens in your life." Knock and the door shall open, ask and you shall receive." Just try and have an open mind.

I don't know why you would find this offensive since I mean it only as an experiment. I happen to know that Jewish people believe that Jesus was a prophet, just not the son of God. I did not want to offend anyone. If nothing happens then maybe you will have had a few minutes of calm and peacefulness. Not a bad deal.

It is my experience that I ask for guidance. that could be in money issues. His will, not mine. He has so many better things for me than I could ever dream up. I start with being grateful for what I have.

hello fellow christian, Solomon asked God for wisdom, not riches or glory, and God gave it to him.

You should learn that some differences exist between an atheist and someone who don't believe in religion.
I have no religious faith because I think religions are so stupid, the same level of stupidity that believing in Santa.
Having no religious faith is not in contradiction with having the conviction that this universe was really conceived by entities external to this universe.
Have an open mind, read again the bible but this time replace the word God with the word "Mickey Mouse" and you'll see what I'm talking about when I say religion are stupid things.

As one who grew up in the Jewish tradition I find this offensive (I am did not choose religion as my life's Spiritual Path). I don't care to pray to Jesus...I pray directly to the Lord God (if there is one) who doesn't need any intermediaries...Good Christian you may/might want to try that sometime. PEACE!

I have. same as if I did nothing. or if I had prayed to Joe Pesci.
What do you pray for? Impossible things? Glad that works if you are.
I just prayed for our old copy machine to not jam. It jammed. Funny thing is that the other day I prayed for it to jam and it didn't. Maybe god just hates me.
There are none more ignorant and useless, than they that seek answers on their knees, with their eyes closed.

The knowledge you will get is that you were right in the first place and God does not exist.

I'm an atheist. I've been on religious retreats. I kept an open mind. I'm still an atheist.
