And someone floated down to you and said,"Be still, and know that I am God!"
Would you be still?
I know I would run like hell!
I've been a bad girl!:)

After pointing at you, running off in the distance, I'd look up and say, "Now look what you did! She'll never come back!" Then I would respond, with all the reverence I could muster, "Still? Being still is for the gods. I am but a mere mortal, charged by the morality of humanity to move about trying to repair all that the gods, in their stillness, ignore."

Sure I'd be still petrified people can't move!

Actually if he floated down, he might be on a river and you'd be asking a trick question so if some dude floated down a river and said he was God, I'd check my wallet cause the dude might just be a criminal, or not. I definitely wouldn't run (drive yes, run no)
GuesS what old style car I am in this post? do you know? Do you? , guess please guess....

I would probably stand still, because I'd be too freaked out to move, and curious to see who the floating person was. But I would really, really, really want to get the hell out of there... and if he/she were God, they'd know that already...

What the, HAHA. How bad, e-mail me! :) Well, to answer your question, yes I would be still. About time to get a glimpse of how God really looks like. I'll take a photo of him too to prove it haha. I would be eminent for something like this. I'll also ask him some questions and how He manages to cope with billions of people at the same time. :P

I'd be too freaked out to move anyway so the floating figure would have it as a win win situation.

You have to face your fears. If you know you've been bad, then fix it. And, if god came down to YOU, he might want to help you, why would you run, he made you, appreciate him, and ask for forgiveness.
