Christians want you to believe that before the bible we were all running around humping anything and everything just for the sake of humping, we drank our own pee ate our feces..you know stuff like that. Then almost magically ( but not literally because magic is the devils work) The bible was born and everyone could read it and memorize it and know that we were not to hump everything and anything like we had before, now we had to do it in private and pretend to be righteous. I hate Christians with a passion, and the bible is a fairy tale, it's been changed to fit into the main stream thousands of times, don't look too deeply into something that is not true.

We all have natuaral conscence--- sum bigger than others but we all have something. Without the bible influence you can learn to egnor it or justify you not having to do the right thing. But deep inside we all know right from wrong. But since adam and Eve sinned we are also born into sin-- Thats WHY there is a bible.. FOR A VERY IMPORTANT REASON. To remind us that the way the world is and how people think is not OK-- god expects more from us because he know he gave us FREE WILL-- but he also know where not perfect. The bible just teaches you the mistakes others have mad and there punishments/ it also teaches you who and HOW god works/ it teaches you WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN AND WHY EVERYTHING thats happing NOW is happening and why things happend before. It teaches you and from there OF COURSE you would develop a STRONGER conscience--- but even unrelioguous parents still teach there children natural values. The bible just makes you understand the morals and why you should common sense and USE it~

The Bible doesn't teach you common sense.

Common: Occurring frequently or habitually; usual.
Sense: A capacity to appreciate or understand

Both come with time and experience, not reading. The Bible does, however, have the ability to mold your value system. So, my answer is this: common sense was around before the Bible was written and moral values were molded in one form or another before it was around. When the Bible was created it did not create morals and common sense with it. Those were created when man was.

God directed ALL the authors of the Bible. He directed and taught the moral vaules through prayer. Common sense is something developed over the years. Some people just choose or choose not to use their Common sense.

No Way. Not before Not after.
Most people I know who have other faiths have better and more morals and 10 times more common sense than most people who claim to follow the Bible.

The loss of values and common sense brought about the need for a Bible.

It's in their Bible.

When the people started actin' the fool, Moses went up on the Mountain and brought down a rule book, this rule book turned into the Bible.

Of course they can have common sense before they read it there. Maybe the Bible speaks of commonsense things so people will be more likely to believe the supernatural things. And maybe they will pay more attention to their common sense if it's in the Bible too.

everything was existing before also. But bible is that weapon which guide us to make use of moral values, common sense etc in the right perspective. All religions are just a guide to show the right path which is already existing and is invisible to the himan race.

Common sense, morals, and ethics can be found everywhere, not just in the Christian world.

They were around before the Bible (and in fact, much biblical law was around, e.g. in the Code of Hammurabi). Some human values can be found in other species, like not killing people close to you and not mating with your siblings.
