i know i did feel something that almost devasted me by taking all of my mind, body and soul. It was strange but does this happen to people often? do they find a soul mate that fast and maybe never see them again and will they meet up again?

ever notice how religious people are always trying to get atheists to disprove a god rather then them proving a god. Can a religious person please disprove the existence of leprechauns and unicorns? I believe they exist now prove me wrong.

Whether you believe in God or not, do you believe in the existance of angels, demons, spirits, ghosts and other spiritual beings which we are unable to see, hear, taste, feel or touch. If so, please elaborate. I'm especially curious about what Athiests have to say about this. Thanks!

My boyfriend who promised me the world... told me that he loved me. And I believed it! Last May he needed $200 to for a consulate appointment to get a visa to come visit me.. and he asked for my help. I sent it. He told me that they "denied" his visa..and the money was nonrefundable. It wasn't until last week.. he told me he doesn't love me and that he doesn't want to be friends anymore. AND.... he admitted that he "USED" me all this time (a period of 3 years.. we met when he was in bible college in the U.S. He graduated last year.. went home due a teaching contract in his country at a bible institute).My heart is broken. I honestly believed in his goodness because of his profession. I was mistaken. I have spent at least three thousand dollars on long distance... not to mention presents.. on birthdays, Christmas..etc... I am asking for advice on how to deal with this.. I am hurting.. Please help!

Love God and love your neighbour.

I dont like to think of myself as any certain religion mainly because i dont like this idea that only one is right.
Is this so, for all the different religions out there what does your religion tell you about the others.Does it say they wont go to heaven? Then again i think the idea of heaven is a little farfetched.I belive in a god of some form but its all very confusing and i like to stay out of it.

Religion in any form has done great things for the human race. Without it, in my opinion, we would not have come as far as we have. There would be no law, no civilization as most people would have had nothing to live for. We would have not grown as a society. Even the wars religion has caused have helped us advance in society and have made way for great as well as terrible inventions. Can the religious and the non religious agree on this? I hope to hear each side.

Rastafarians believe it does make one closer to God and although I don't know much about their faith, I think they might be on to something. In your faith or personal experiences, have you felt closer to knowing something about God or the divine by smoking herb? Do we need to break out the peace pipe at the next UN powwow?
