Not at all. See Psalm 73, which discusses this very question.

I am not discomforted with anyone being successful, I hate seeing anyone being miserable, no matter what the conditions.

Matthew 5:43-47 ""You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?"

I don't think any real Christian would be comforted by seeing anyone miserable. As for being in discomfort in seeing a successful atheist, I personally wouldn't be.

I think every situation lends itself to possibilities. Take that as you may.

Atheists could be happier then christians as a results of fact they assume that's the only existence they have, and that they might desire to make the better of it, jointly as christians are content cloth making sacrifices to have a valuable afterlife yet, christians can greater actually negate unfavorable thinking via asserting it's going to be greater perfect whilst they pass to heaven making them happier in undesirable circumstances. success has have been given little to do with faith, so this would not rely

No, not me. The bible doesn't promise that a good Christian will find comfort in this world. It does promise anyone can obtain comfort for an eternity after this world. If I had to chose between the two I would choose the second.

Why would anyone, at least an average, nice person, be happy to see another person miserable?

I'm always pleased to see other people happy and successful if they got there ethically and are kind to the people around them.
An atheist is as capable of goodness and ethics as anyone else.

There are, unfortunately, people out there who are intolerant of other's beliefs.
(This includes non-religious people as well as religious people.)

'Tis a great pity.

(For the record, I'm a religious person.)

The word atheist is an oxymoron. How can one be so totally 'against' something if they truly believe the something does not exist?

Of course it hurts when the heathen rage. How dare they? If I have it all right and they have it all wrong, why do their poppies grow so tall? And why do their poppies make such good organic medicine?

If you were all smart you would do it my way! HA HA HA.

When my god finally gets to be boss, you will all have peace and liberty and all good things, even if he has to shove it all up your shirt sleeve!

Cheers

No, I pretty much understand that they may have the "good life" here, for a lifetime, while Christians will have their "treasures" in Heaven for eternity. I personally, will choose door #2 because, this life is evil and I want the long-term investment. =)
