I have studied many diffrent religions. I have not studied much of yours, but I am always learning.

Now, today, I have read some of the prophecies made, the minor ones, and some of the things about Jesus and Muhammed.

Can you tell me if I have this right. You believe in God (Allah in your launguage), Moses, and Jesus only as a prophet. But Muhammed was the last and final prophet, making your religion complete and accurate? And the Quran has never been altered in ANY way, not even revised right?

I am only learning, so as to educate myself. Is there any other major points to your religion I should know about? And if Jesus was a prophet and taugh Love, and Muhammed was also a prophet, why did he teach violence?

I mean no disrespect, I am merely curious.

Buddha never claimed to be God. Moses never claimed to be Jehovah. Mohammed never claimed to be Allah. Yet Jesus Christ claimed to be the true and living God. Buddha simply said, "I am a teacher in search of the truth." Jesus said, "I am the Truth." Confucius said, "I never claimed to be holy." Jesus said, "Who convicts me of sin?" Mohammed said, "Unless God throws his cloak of mercy over me, I have no hope." Jesus said, "Unless you believe in me, you will die in your sins." --Unknown Just think about that for a little.

Can anyone (preferably an expert) take a good look at this site and tell me whether or not the claims made on this page are valid (esp. the August 2-4 codes). I tend to think that the Bible Code isn't real, but some of the things going on this past week make me wonder...

i just cease to understand why, why.. and how anyone could believe this stuff. it blows my mind. i know this may cause an uproar butttt tell me your thoughts. i just think that it is impossible that some god controls our world, its hard to belive that there arent better things for any kind of alleged superior being to be doing considering how flawed and predictable humans are, including myself mind you.

The church I was raised in was the "First Church of the Nazarene" and I now attend the "First Free Methodist Church"... What does the "first" in these names mean? There aren't second or third and there seems to be an awful lot of them around... Can anyone tell me it's significance?

I have been a Christian for many years. Since I was in Highschool. But for the last few years I have been bitter toward God. I am in a lot of pain and really need the Lords help. But I think he's not listening to me anymore. Should I just give up and face my troubles alone.

If you have a certain belief, have you ever read other works?

For example, if you are Christian, have you read the teachings of Buddha? If you are Muslim, have you read any Hindu scriptures? Atheists, have you ever read the Bible or Koran? Anything outside your own belief structure.

Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.

We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air

There is so much good in the worst of us,
That it ill behooves any of us
To rail at the faults of the rest of us."

I have many friends and many favors that I would ask for but the most pressing one I find myself asking for is healing for another. What would you have granted for another. You need not mention a name.
