The second death or lake of fire is like fat drippings that fall into the fire. Just a poof of smoke into non-existence.

Psa.37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

It's your choice, choose life.

Ha, I have to say that I know where you're coming from.

However, I'm looking in from the other side. I had gone to church all my life and never been able to "get" it, and I'd be so annoyed when people were like, "Oh, I LOVE Jesus!!! WHEEE!"...

But then, I realized what a pathetic mess I was. I realized all the people trying to reach out to me were doing it because they cared and because they wanted to see me Alive. And tey could truly care about me like they did because of the change Christ had made in them.

So, that's my story. Take it or leave it. Honestly, it's useless if you look at it as some Christian psychobabble. But, if you've got an open mind, it just might save your soul.

He does not have anyone begging you to worship Him. There may be some people who would like to see you saved and maybe spend eternity in a good place like heaven. But He is not begging you to come to Him - He is God - God does not begg.

Of course - if you are not following Him - who are you following? There is only God & Satin. If you are not following God - then there is only one other.

If people are begging you to worship Him, their obedience is not to God. When Jesus walked the earth, He did not force people to follow Him. He told of His beliefs, shared His wisdom. His intention was never to prove that others were wrong, but rather to state His opinion and hope they would take it into consideration. He was never forceful, that is not His way. I will do the same, state what I believe, and hope that you will listen to what I have to say. Whether or not you accept it is up to you. God bless!

He will eventually leave you alone, in the sense that no one will ask you to be saved. But God has taken the peace from the earth and you will have to live with that, not to mention other things that he is doing to call your attention to your fragile life here on earth.. They may restore it again for a short time, but they may not also..

Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Ann,

My own experience has been this: The louder I raged against the Christians who witnessed to me, the closer I was to getting saved. It was almost as though subconsciously I was trying one last vain attempt to "prove" that God really didn't care...secretly hoping that His people would let me down by leaving me alone. It'd be sorta like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

You sound almost like I did back then. Do yourself a favor, and just surrender. If He's after you that bad, to the point of venting like this, it means your wall is about to topple. And it's easier to surrender, than have the wall fall down.

Who''s begging you? People believe something and they want others to believe it also, whether it is for or against. People think that the more people that believe it the more true it becomes, however only 'reality' changes, 'truth' does not.

Good luck

If you don't like it, why do you come to this site? Just shut it off or go to another site and nobody will ask you anything about Jesus. Sounds like a deal to me, dude!!

Why do you keep writing provocative questions in this category? What is it about religion that bothers you? Why don't you just believe what you want and leave the others alone.? Methinks thou doth protest too much!
