There is so much good in the worst of us,
That it ill behooves any of us
To rail at the faults of the rest of us."

It reminds me of "How People Grow" by Cloud/Townsend. They talk about how ill equipped we are for the knowledge of good and evil because we either try to justify ourselves by our good or obsess about the faults we see in ourselves and others.

Larry Crabb says we get wounded in relationships and we heal in relationships. Of course, that's only true if our new relationships offer us acceptance, honesty, and love. We need to see the faults, move toward the good, and encourage each other as best we can.

No matter where we are in life, we all equally need the grace of God.

That there is a little good in those who are bad, and a little bad in those who are good. That we all possess good and bad traits, therefore we really don't have the right to judge others when we are guilty of something ourselves.

It talks about the strugle of good and bad in all people
and that we should not talk about or put down other people for thier life choices.

Same thing as people in glass houses should not throw stones.

I think that would be a good commentary on Matthew 7:1--Judge not, lest ye be judged.

I liked that, Thanks.
