Can anyone (preferably an expert) take a good look at this site and tell me whether or not the claims made on this page are valid (esp. the August 2-4 codes). I tend to think that the Bible Code isn't real, but some of the things going on this past week make me wonder...

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

I don't think the codes are real... A scientist found codes in the book "Moby Dick" as well... it is just not likly that the codes are real, they don't tell the future, you have to look for them only after an event has happened...

My question is, "Why try to seek out the future in some sort of 'code' when all you have to do is read Bible prophesy?"

It is there in plain view, take the book of Revelations for example....

yes some symbolism is used, but I believe that what is said about the end times is true...

the world leader, one world government, one currency, world wide ID "mark" with GPS and other information...

think it is impossible?

Just look at the European Union, one currency, one flag...

The Bible prophesy is like reading a news paper...

"there will be wars and rumers of wars"- the Bible...

Hey don't take my word for it, read Bible prophesy, not all of it is in Revelations...

some is in the Old Testament as well...

Claims are not valid. Bible code is not real. Events of past week have been continuous since the time of the bible, with periods of peace and periods of war.

You can read anything you want into a book written thousands of years ago, it will not make it any more accurate or significant than Nostradamus prophecies, or today's fakers like John Edward.

I just bought the sequel to the original book but I haven't read it yet, just glanced through it.

The author and discoverer of the code claims that he can find anything AFTER the fact using his code method.

I guess it's sort of like Nostrodomos. It may actually be there (the future) but no one truly see's it until something happens.

The original author claims that 9/11 was in the code, with towers and air and stuff like that. I think even double or twin towers.

The thing of it is, it's seems quite symetrical. It's not like he's jerrymandering the text to match the situation.

The question is, does the Bible have a hidden code. You might be interested in reading the following article.

No, it's not. I took a good look at the site months ago, and all I saw was something similar to the website about Bush being the antichrist. All crap.
You could make something out of just about anything.

Now, look. people have been making doomsday predictions since Jesus ascended into heaven. No one can pinpoint the day except for God. He made the rules, and people are foolish to try to find codes that don't exist.

Anything to do with Old Testament Prophecy has already happened.I won't look at it because since everyone is looking for the return, that is something Jesus said not to,do not believe them...If they say look here he is here or look there he is there.
