Alli, We don't need logic to believe in God if we did Why Would there be faith. And for this Question that You ask, God did Give Free will but he also Created us, God knows whats on everyone's heart he does not need to prove him self to anyone. When people make comments saying God doesn't exists the don't know and they can't prove it either they can throw all of there logic at us but what with that do. We don't try to make some one believe that's not are Job are job is to let as many people as possible know about Christ its there choice to follow or not. The one thing I will say is this:
John 8:24
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
John 17:20
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

Why don't I believe? Some people would cite all the inaccuracies and contradictions in the Bible to answer this question; others would just say "it's impossible." But I'm going to take a different route.
I don't believe because I look at this world and I think about all the things that I would do if *I* were God. Seriously, look at this planet. War. Destruction. Conflict. Death. Starvation. Poverty. Distrust. Corruption. Crime. Disease. Terrorism. Every time you turn on the news, someone has died in a horrible accident or even worse, a terrorist attack. That conflict over in Israel is already killing hundreds of people. Terrorist attacks around the globe frequently kill a large number of people.
And look throughout history. World War I, tens of millions dead. World War II, 62 million dead. Korean War, 3.5 million dead. Russian Civil War, 9 million dead. Taiping Rebellion, 50 million dead. Thirty Years' War, 8 million dead. Second Sino-Japanese War, 25 million dead. Atlantic slave trade during the 16th through 19th centuries, up to 200 million dead. The German Holocaust, at least 15 million dead. Auschwitz ALONE, 1.4 million dead. 9/11/2001, 3,000 dead before the morning had even ended. The 2004 tsunami, over 200,000 dead. The Black Plague, at least 75 million dead.
THIS is the best world that a supreme, omniscient, all-powerful deity can create?!?!?!?!?!
And then you always get the argument that God LET all of the above happen, for whatever reason. If you really believe that, then let me give you another example.
I just graduated from high school in June. Back in October of my senior year, I knew a kid who was killed in a car accident. He was a senior in high school, just like I was. He was active in the band and other activities, had great grades, and was loved by everyone here. He would have graduated from high school, gone to college, been successful, and touched people's lives. He had a girlfriend at the time of the accident, and I have no doubt in my mind that they would have married, or at least gone on to have a long-lasting relationship. His life, as far as I'm concerned, was stolen from him.
Now, you might say, "Well, maybe God called him! He wanted him up in heaven!!" Well, why the hell couldn't God have waited nine months for him to graduate? Why couldn't he have "called" him in a year, or five years? Why couldn't he have LET HIM LIVE HIS LIFE? And if God really "calls" people up to Heaven, why can't he let people pass away peacefully in their sleep, instead of dying a traumatic, horrifying death in a car accident or a war or a terrorist attack?
And then you might say, "Well, it wasn't God's fault that the car crashed." Then why couldn't he have done anything about it? He just sat up there in the sky and let it happen? If you were a deity, and you saw this going on down on the world that you created, would you just sit there?
Stuff like that is what makes the whole "God" thing unbelievable to me. There is no reason why anyone has to be killed. If you were God, or if I was God, you know either of us would stop these things from happening. The world is a nasty, horrible, disgusting, dangerous, unsafe place. It always has been and it always will be. The fact that there is a deity up in the sky that either (a) made it this way or (b) is letting it be this way is something that I will never be able to accept.

You haven't said which God you believe in and you therefore ask a bit of a booboo.
If you believe in a God that has a son, then you believe in the Devil.
If you believe in a God that is a Trinity, then you still believe in the Devil, or the Satan.
When the Bible says "Hear O Israel, The Lord our God is One" this means that "One" has nothing to compare with it, because it is One.
When you believe in a son of a God, that adds another, and thats not one, but two.
When you believe in a Father and a son and a spirit, you believe in Greek Garbage and you make a mockery of the Oneness of the Only True God, and this exposes you to the wrath of your Lord and Creator.
When you accept a God who will send a son to be sacrificed by man you accept that your God is no more than a man and that's blasphemy and pagan worship.
When you believe in a God who bacame man and was crucified, you have the lowest form of belief of which the human being is capable, and you do not have a clue about crucifixion.
The victim of crucifixion is hanged, an accursed death, and is left on the cross to have his flesh eaten off by the vultures and vermin, and that is all after the torture of having his legs crossed on the cross to keep him on his feet throughout the period of torture and pain, with the nails in his hands and feet and the cuts and the bruises of the flogging and breathing violently from the journey to the garbage Dump, naked, and, finally, to have his loved ones bury only the bones, some seven days later, with the broken ones that caused him to suffocate and die while still on the cross.
If your God chose to curse his own son, then he and his son must be Satan in the flesh and spirit.
Amen

Can you give me one logical reason not to believe I, Kimmy, am not god? I can do SO much more than your make-believe god. I can answer questions on Yahoo Answers. Your make-believe god can't do ANYTHING! If he could, why does he let me talk like this? I DARE your make-believe god to crash my computer before I post this! See, he didn't, because he CAN'T.

Besides the psychological deficiencies that cause people to accept myth blindly?
If there really was some kind of deity, we would have all been born with that knowledge and we would not need religious instruction. besides, each religion tells a different story. But they all are the same in one aspect: believing their religion is true and the hundreds of others are not.

There is no evidence, other than biased religious works, that support the existence of any gods. If I were to believe in any gods without such evidence, it would be necessary for me to believe in leprechauns and unicorns as well.

I DO believe in God, but my brother doesn't and I'll tell you his argument. He states, "You can't prove to me that God exists; therefore, I don't believe He does." Using the same logic, I turned it right back on him: "Well, you can't prove to me that God doesn't exist; therefore, you can't believe that He doesn't." He actually said, "You know... You're right...! I guess I haven't experienced Him yet." A couple of days later, I asked him if he could've experienced God and not known it. He said, "No...!"
We'll see...

I dare her (god, not kimmy, though she is welcome to) suck a big gob out of my cock, and still, nothing.
"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism."

People only make up "god" to explain things that can't be explained. Greeks and Romans believed in gods for the water and sun etc, but today we know that they don't exist.

Well, i guess it's not my place to answer this, seeing as how I DO believe.
However, I'm just trying to give you advice here when I say that it's not smart to ask questions like this. You get people's hackles up, everybody's angry at those who don't agree with them, and nobody wins.
"Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." Colossians 4:6 -->This verse tells us to speak only with what is helpful and Godly (full of grace) while planting a seed for Christ to grow in people's hearts (seasoned with salt).
