Definitely not actual religious people. They have morals and values. The person who sent you this is just some freak.

Faithful true Christians don't goto pubs, bars, or honkytonks.
John 7:16-20
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Everyone has the ability to hate. Religious, non-religious, white, black, hispanic, everyone...no exeptions. However, if they were truly followers of Jesus or even Buddah, most religious, they would check their hate a little, maybe think twice before sending the e-mail. However, I'd like to remind everyone...before Bush decided to drop bombs on Iraq and kill women, children, and innocent civilians...he claims he prayed. Yes, everyone, including those who claim to be religious, has the ability, potential to hate. How one handles their hate and anger though, really says a lot about who they really are.

God has problems with his kids from time to time. The point of religion is not the people who ascribe to it, anyone can claim they are religious, doesn't mean much. The point of religion is to find your own relationship with God, and know him for yourself. If you are looking at other people and deciding what you think based on that you will only get depressed. When you take yor eyes off those around you and put them on God, you will find peace.

I don't think that it is a typical act of a religious person. I don't know what else to say. I just think it is odd.

I think this person is just using religion as a cover for their sick mind.
If i were you i would not let this person upset me as they are obviously more to be pitied then hated for the fact that their soul is sick.

no, that is hateful...unfortunately all too often, we see examples of people who pretend to be 'religious' as a cover for insulting others...
