Can anyone tell me what person this refers to? I saw this posted from another user, and I'm interested to know more if anyone recognizes the description.

"I agree 100% If we cant be on the religious agenda then I say they need to go back in time and realize who was here b4 Jesus!! She was a beautiful woman who never hurt anyone onless they hurt her

Source(s):

saw it on TV read it in books she was the first the last the everything"

*******
Btw...

I realize this quote mentions Jesus, so let me just say that no offense is intended, and I am just curious to know more about the woman mentioned.

Now this isnt a question on wether or not there is a God. That I can handle. I just find hard to believe that people have an issue with God judging sinners. Like it is unheard of to be punished for wrong doing. I look at some of the answers for questions that pertain to the reality of God and see that most of them are well thought out. Wether the answer is from a Atheist, Christian, or another belief, but than you have those few people that rant on about how unfair it is for God to place judgement on someone. I just want to know why people cant except that, if God is real, there will be a day you have to account for your wrong behaviour. Can someone help me with this?

Yes, I can be cynical, I raise my doubts, and aim for loopholes in logic as I see em. But, I enjoy reading / hearing what everone has to say whether they're shooting my errors or just plain shining some true inspirations.

So, let's have it! Share!

Islam uplifted women and gave them equality and expects them to maintain their status.

Islam uplifted the status of women and granted them their just rights 1400 years ago. Islam expects women to maintain their status.

Hijaab for men

People usually only discuss ‘hijaab’ in the context of women. However, in the Glorious Qur’an, Allah (swt) first mentions ‘hijaab’ for men before ‘hijaab’ for the women. The Qur’an mentions in Surah Noor:

"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do."
[Al-Qur’an 24:30]

You dont think about questioning this

angels blowing trumpets in the sky
talking donkeys
sticks turning into snakes
wizzards
Jesus getting beat just so you can get to heaven after murdering

But you have the nerve to question evolution?

Why people fight with each other in the names of country, religion etc? It's really sad to see several bomb blasts, border wars and even internal clash (with-in a country) among different religion/caste. Why dont we have a peaceful world?

..... programs, rewards and punishments as maybe required? … I mean, do people who barely make it to Heaven by the skin of their teeth get the same wonderful treatment as say Mother Teresa’s of this world? How about those who have truly committed evil deeds vs. those who didn't quite make it to Heaven - do they all get the same nasty treatment in Hell? Or are there degrees of niceties and punishments and hence separate class-societies in Heaven and Hell?

P.S. I am merely asking a question – not trying to argue against anyone’s faith or lack thereof, as maybe the case.

I have noticed on several Q&A's that the majority of the people speak out AGAINST religion. Is this a trend? If you're religious, is this a test? In the bible doesn't the end of the world come when the majority of the people turn their backs on God?
I haven't been to church in years and don't remember how the story goes. If you do believe in a God do you think that the Hurricanes, Global warming, floods, tsunamis etc. are a sign? Think God is closing up shop on us?

There's a man standing on the corner
With a sign sayin "Will work for food"
You know the man
You see him every morning
The one you never give your money to
You can sit there with your window rolled up
Wondering when the lights going to turn green
Never knowing what a couple more bucks
In his pocket might mean

What if he's an angel sent here from Heaven
And he's making certain that you're doing your best
To take the time to help one another
Brother are you going to pass that test
You can go on with your day to day
Trying to forget what you saw in his face
Knowing deep down it could have been his saving grace
What if he's an angel?
*************************************************************

Yes.. It's from the song.. But he makes a good point. I remember my mom giving a bum a few dollars.. And I asked her why she did.. And she replied.. What if he's an angel? No lie..
Will you pass the test?

I have a t-shirt that says "Music Is My Religion." When I wore it to my family reunion (all my relatives are super conservative southern baptist) one of my aunts told me it was a blasphamy.

My boyfriend has a t-shirt that says "Jesus is F***ing METAL!" Someone stopped us on the street one day and told him he should be ashamed.

What do you think? Are our t-shirts blaspemous or cause for shame? I'm not going to stop wearing my shirt because I love it and I really don't care what my relatives think, and my boyfriend is Athiest so he dosn't care, but I'm curious to know what others think.
