You're asking to define it like someone would define a grapefruit.

Magic is a practice, not a thing. It is working with subtle energies that flow through this world. For many, this energy has a divine component to it. Magic is an extention of willpower. Magick refers to specific acts that work in conformity to one's true Will. Magik is a made-up word that 15 year olds use because it looks cool.

Truthfully, Magic in it's purest form is actually the faith that you put into it for good purposes or bad. It is concidered wrong to use the gifts of the spirit in Christ Jesus for gain, or vengeance, or any other reason, be it good or bad.

It is concidered utilizing the ideals of the devil or Satan, by means of disception and slight of hand. Rather you are in reference of a "magic trick" or actual "for real" magic like "white, grey, or black magic.

Magik - as you have put it I believe is in the form of such beliefs as "hoo-doo", "Voo-doo", and the like.....

I hope that this helps to answer your question.

All magick is is personal energy manifested to do what you want it to.
