What do you think? Did He show up on earth before He was born to Mary? He did exist from the beginning, and some passages make me think that He did show up once in a while

Adam (male) gave birth to Eve (female).
Does a male giving birth really make sense to you?

Long ago i have read the Bible. A beautiful fictional novel, with nice stories, sometimes scary stories.

Then i came to Yahoo!Answers, asked questions about the Bible, and half of the answers told me to "read the Bible!!!"

So, i did that, but the Bible hadn't even changed. It was the same book as i read before. I still remain with all the same questions i have about the Bible.

I came to the conclusion that an answer that states "Read the Bible", actually means:
"You should accept my own interpretation of that part of the bible I assume is relevant to your current question".

In other words, it means "i'm right, you're wrong, but i don't know why"

Why don't people just say that, if that is what they actually mean?

Thomas Paine writes: “But admitting, for the sake of a case, that something has been revealed to a certain person, and not revealed to any other person, it is revelation to that person only. When he tells it to a second person, a second to a third, a third to a fourth, and so on, it ceases to be a revelation to all those persons. It is revelation to the first person only and hearsay to every other…”

I say: Why is that when God talks to somebody, it's always DO AS I SAY OR I WILL DAMN YOU TO HELL. Wuzzup wit dat???

I recently heard of chimerism. A chimera is a person having 2 sets of DNA as a result of one embryo totally engulfing another in utero in the very earliest stages of pregnancy. If a person can have 2 sets of DNA as a result...is it possible that they could have the sexual desires of the opposite sex twin that they absorbed in utero?? Could this explain homosexuality. So often people say that they were born gay...that they cannot help it...that they are trapped in the wrong body...What do you think?????

what makes you know better than me?
i worship Allah and i know what i worship and IT'S NOT a moon god.
infact you ignorants are mistaken Allah with Allati a pagan god ( idol ) that was worshiped by the tribes of Arabian peninsula. and when Islam came ALL those idols were destroyed.

thats what we worship ALLAH the god of Abraham, Isaak, Jacob, Moses, Aron, joseph, noah, jesus and mohamed!! ( peace be upon them)
whether you agree or disagree that doesnt change this FACT.

If we are saved by grace, what does it mean to work out our own salvation through fear and trembling?
------
Ephesians 2:8-9
"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Philippians 2:12
"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. "
----

I am not trying to be argumentative I am really wondering. I have just been told different versions of what it means to be saved, and of course I want to make sure that I have been properly saved, (hell sounds so unpleasant).

I am curious how these scriptures work together. would someone mind helping me?

Also, can you lose your salvation?

The Bible says that if we believe in Jesus we will be saved.
So is it correct that all we have to do is believe that he lived once upon a time and we go to heaven?

So many poor folks think their sins are okay just by blaming another.

Hiding your head in the sand does not make your sins go away.

Confessing your sins and praying for forgiveness is your only salvation from eternal damnation.

There are no Satanists or Atheists coming to your door trying to get you to believe in what they do. And why can't ya'll answer a question without bringing God into it. It's really ridiculous.
