In Phillipians 2:5 the word says "Let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.
1Cor2:16 ............but we have the mind of Christ
Is it true that we are suppose to operate in the Mind of Christ and that was the the human way of thinking before sin?

Think of the Catholics in the crusades and during the times of the conquistadores, Spanish inquisition etc forcing people to convert or die.

Now, they don't do it any more, but the Muslims - a much younger religion - still have that mentality. Maybe it's just a phase some religions pass through and grow out of. Muslim thinking seems to be 600 years behind in this respect.

What do you think?

I live from paycheck to paycheck, and I can barely pay my bills with my income. There is usually nothing left to give.

A fine of $25 can be levied for flirting. This old law specifically prohibits men from turning around on any city street and looking "at a woman in that way." A second conviction for a crime of this magnitude calls for the violating male to be forced to wear a "pair of horse-blinders" wherever and whenever he goes outside for a stroll.

Women aren't allowed to wear patent-leather shoes in Cleveland, Ohio- a man might see the reflection of something "he oughtn't!"

Oklahoma:
Violators can be fined, arrested or jailed for making ugly faces at a dog.

Females are forbidden from doing their own hair without being licensed by the state.

Dogs must have a permit signed by the mayor in order to congregate in groups of three or more on private property.

Christians here seem to quote him as often as they quote Jesus.

I thought he was just a fantasy writer.

I've heard Christians say that God's voice actually spoke to them regarding doing what's right, but I think it's their inner voice.

Hey Guys.
Firstly, Im an Atheist, lets get this clear. However, im getting somewhat sick of the moronic questions aimed at us, as if we are firstly some sort of coherent group and secondly, as if we are Aliens.
I mean, 'Do Atheists fight on a battlefield'? Jesus, lets just ask 'Do Atheists Breath?'
Is this just me, or does any one else think we need less idiotic questions and more debate?

why do people say 'you shouldn't tempt God'?
Do these people believe that God is lacking in self control and that He is very sensitive?
