I've heard Christians say that God's voice actually spoke to them regarding doing what's right, but I think it's their inner voice.

People who truly believe that god literally spoke to them are delusional. They need heavy medication and long-term therapy.

Every person is entitled to their own opinions because of free will. But God has not spoken to me thru my "good conscienceness". Your heart and mind are full of hate, rejection, immorality, confusion, etc. God speaks to me thru a medium - my instincts. That little "gut feeling" I have when I should make a certain decision or walk away. My "gut feeling" is God trying to guide my soul by speaking to my spirit...

Hearing god speak is a sign of schizophrenia. Hearing your inner voice and realising it's not a mythical god is the sign of a well centred human being.

It's odd people think the divine can speak. Any voices anyone ever hears is from their own egos/consciousness.

Conscience is entirely a human, psychological thing, nothing to do with God, who is most likely a psychological figment of one's imagination :P

Many times when i was younger I prayed asking God to talk to me, give me direction, I guess he was too busy......Nothing from God, No busy signal or returned call. I finally hung up.
