Nonsense!

If you wish to convert to Judaism, there's nothing and nobody to stop you, least of all Jewish laws and traditions.

I suppose you're too young to remember that when Elizabeth Taylor married Eddie Fisher SHE formally converted to Judaism. She's never converted back to Christianity either.

Sammy Davis Jr was a converted Jew, he certainly wasn't born into it. People can do this, it isn't forbidden. However, I believe one has to take classes with a rabbi and become officially recognized by the state of Israel as being a Jew. But forbidden? Nope.

You are dead wrong, good friend converted to Judaism to marry a Jewish man. That said, I cannot say with certainty that all forms of Judaism are as open, some of the Orthodox forms may be less receptive to conversions.

Anyone can convert to Judaism. The only thing is that Jews do not actively seek converts.
