A number of ways, but the ones I have experienced personally include that "inner voice" that makes you aware of when you're going to do something (either right or wrong) and having complete strangers enter into my life unexpectedly, to help out or offer advice on situations.

Some will say this is all just coincidence, but when you experience enough coincidences over time you start to see the big picture.

Look within. If 'God' speaks to anyone, it would be everyone. Find that 'thing' that is common for all mankind and all creatures, and all life, and all non life..............hang on...........that would be the whole universe. Maybe God is the universe, and you were best at 'hearing' ' God' when a child. So ask children for the answers. look at nature for the answers. Look within to hear God. Maybe that's how one can 'hear' 'God'. Maybe.....We Are God. that would explain all the evil in the universe now wouldnt it. Anyway, im rambling.

I feel my answer best fits all the known facts of life.

i hear God speak to me by quickening his word in my mind as i read it. when i pray for him to show me something, he gives an answer. it's being spiritually sensitive. just the other day this happened. we have an old car, and now hubby is going to have to drive it for a commute. we took the car out the other day and there was an odd noise in the front end. this concerned us. on the way home I prayed -- God, you know we need this car to get him to and from work, what is wrong with it? a little later that day it was brought to my memory that a mechanic had told us we needed our motor mounts replaced. this happened months ago, the car broke down and we didn't think about it again. it was highly unlikely i'd remember that on my own. that's how God works, in a still, small voice.

There are two ways.

First, since God helps people through other people, listen to the good advice you get from others.

Second, clear your mind. Be quite and have it be quite around you. Concentrate on listening, not speaking or thinking. You will hear God's words flutter across your mind.

God bless.

God speaks to us in different ways.. through His Word (Bible) through other people in prophecy, through prayer, and yes He even speaks to some verbally. Alot of times we are the ones doing the talking to God in prayer. But we do need to stop sometimes and listen for His voice.. (the sheep know the Shepherds voice.) It is like a marriage we have to have a close personally relationship with God. In a marriage the wife and husband talk to each not just one talking but both. Have to learn to listen.

We speak to God through prayer and he speaks to us through meditation. He also speaks to us through other people and events in our life. He also uses our intutuion to guide us. We come to know him through nature as someone already mentioned. Silence is a powerful way of hearing the unhearable. It also is in and of itself considered a prayer. Nature is filled with God, when we "get away from it all" and take a hike, go to the ocean, sit by a mountain(or climb it) we are at one with other creations. It happens when we take care of our pets. He speaks through the heart not the head. Feeling love, for whatever reason is God speaking. The thing is, are we good listeners?

I used to ask this question a lot and it's not something you can explain. God talks to those who are close to Him and you know when it's Him. I'm sorry I can't explain it more but that's been my experience. I can tell you that it's not some big booming voice from the sky like in the movies. You have to be paying attention to hear Him because He doesn't force Himself on anyone. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. :) God Bless.

Anymore in this world of unbelievers, it is more of just a feeling, than an actuall voice. So there really isn't any "proof" that god spoke to you. Or whoever. And if you tell anyone you either become a cult leader or they lock you up in an asylum.

Read the Bible daily OUT LOUD not to yourself. You will then hear God speak to you via your own voice.
