True, and that's why it makes it easy for non-Christians to point fingers. The old adage "If you're going to talk the talk you need to walk the walk" is true.

Once again you can not generalize. Not all of us Christians conform some of us walk a different road and don't care how the world sees it. We live or strive to live as we are called. Look around there are no two people totally alike and no one should say all are this or all are that.

Peace Be With You,

I totally agree. However, I know a group of Christians who won't conform. If you notice, the Apostolic Pentecostal group, they tend to non conform. They still believe in modesty and morality. Unilike some Christians I see who you can't tell from the world. I see women who show their bodies like a piece of meat as bait and I see men who flaunt themselves as bait also. It truly is sickening to me.

I also do not believe in "Christian" rock. I believe that the world should be able to pull up next to me at a red light, hear my music and KNOW that I am Christian. NOT that I have to listen to the oldies station, but there is Christian music available to me that isn't old fashioned and isn't conformed after the world. I have heard some songs that I can't tell if they are talking to their boyfriend/girlfriend or they are talking to God.

The Bible says we are to be a "chosen generation, a PECULIAR people" not lumped together.

I agree. We need to take a stand and be different.

Yes, Hookhead, sadly enough it is our reality. Very disappointing. And when you try to live a transformed by the Word life, you feel like you're the only one really making an effort. I won't stop trying to be "set aside" and consecrated. I fail more often than not, too though. I do definetly GO to God for everything...everything. I guess I'd hear Him and see Him better if I were truly transformed. Great question.

Yes..I do. I have caught myself getting caught up too. So I have been guilty of this. I am the worst sinner in our Church, really in the entire Church world wide. I'm a work in progress
