why do people say 'you shouldn't tempt God'?
Do these people believe that God is lacking in self control and that He is very sensitive?

I think it's the lightning bolts from his fingers that is the major concern. Do you really want to tempt a guy with the power to fry your butt?

Because the Bible says that you should not tempt God.

Apparently, that is what they believe. I say our very existence must be a temptation if that is so; after all, our lives must be pathetically comedic to someone who would know all, see all.

I said it, because God can give you much more to
think about.
God is very much in control. He told us about NOT
using His name when we don't need Him.
