like final fantasy X or the xenosaga trilogy??

im agnostic so it doesnt bother me. but ive heard of alot of christians condemning these 3 games in particular.
final fantasy X
xenosaga episode 1
xenosaga episode 2.
and i was just wondering what ppls thoughts were on this board.
i personally think that if a video game is enough to make you question your faith or threaten you then you must have had weak faith to begin with.
xenosaga ep 3 comes out in english on augest 28th i cant wait ^-^

well the games arent really showing religeon in general as evil.
just the higher ups in religeon.
i mean in xenosaga episode 2 the second to last boss fight (this is technically the real boss final boss) is a space pope. he was changed from being a pope in the english version though.
and final fantasy X made a fictional religeon called yevon which you learn is full of corrupt ppl. and it is actually worshiping SIN (sin is a giant sea monster that is destroying the world of spira)
well alot of the corrputness isnt explained in the cut scenes if you want to know the full story you need to talk to machan the elderly scholar.
but they still come off pretty bad.

most of these games are made in japan. what gaurentee do you have they could even read your letter (they prolly could)

Excellent. Its about time people where allowed to know how evil religion truelly is. religion makes itself 'seem' evil. I just hope the games are not advocating killing religeous people. If they were, then they must produced by some religion, and should not be bought.

I don't know about the ones you mentioned because I haven't played them. Halo2 does a pretty good job of illustrating the sort of destruction faith can cause.
They are just games and the average person may not even get the connection between the made up religions of that game and religions that are currently practiced today.

Some people are just sad. They make fun of the standards they can't keep. Behind every religion-basher there is the bitterness of a sinner. Don't Hate.
Oh, and if few people bought these games; and more people complained to right people, those companies wouldn't put out those games. WRITE A LETTER; IT'S EMPOWERING!!!!!!!!!

They teach youngsters that those group of people are bad. It is a long term plan by the government to embed those sorts of ideas into the minds of young ones>>

I think they should be sued for hate crimes, in one case that is happening in Columbus, Ohio..I hope they win
