Her name is actually Doreen Virtue, there is a lot of information about her at beliefnet.com. I have read a lot of books about how if people believe in something strong enough, it will manifest itself for them and become real.
She is supposed to be a very interesting person. Look her up.

Old time Mariners thought that they saw mermaids to but it turned out they were actaully seeing manatees lol. Maybe the same thing happned to the Dr.

Lots of people make some outrageous claims on that show. It's amazing what a crazy world we live in today.
